Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThe wifi was pretty weak, and I rely on it because I have to work, so had to use my phone hotspot few times. The room is small and there is no space for putting your clothes etc. Small drawer or shelf would be great
The location is perfect, minites away from main train station. Room was pretty clean, bed comfortable. Staff let me leave my luggage before check-in as I arrived super early

AustraliaI can't think of anything I didn't like. It was not just exactly what I was looking for, it even exceeded my expectations. The only thing is that some rooms do not have windows, which could be considered a positive as you don't hear the hustle and bustle of the streets when you are sleeping.
The receptionist is lovely, the beds are comfortable; the common area is very relaxing and is set up very well. It is in a great location, very close to Taipei Main Station.

AustraliaAir conditioners stink, tried two rooms and the air conditioners need a good clean. There is no ventilation besides leaving your door open. Shower room was particularly stinky.
Great place to relax and love the small rooms. Love the look and feel of the place. Shower was powerful.

TaiwanWe felt very strong cigarette smoke during the night. Even though there is a prohibition of smoking, people do not respect it and the insulation is bad...

SwedenThere’s a bit of a smell, especially in the room without the window. Running the aircon for a bit makes it better. Very small room. No soundproofing whatsoever, you can hear the person in the other room moving in bed and snoring. But I traveled all over Taiwan and honestly, this will be the case most places this price range.
The location is great, just next to taipei main station. The staff was nice and helpful. It was clean, provided sheets and towels and slippers and water bottle. Bed comfortable.

ThailandShower room and bathroom could've been a bit nicer but for the price were acceptable. Great water pressure.
Location could not be better. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby, right next to the main station and the underground mall connected to it. Near a park, near major bus routes.

Excellent proximity to the train station (exit the station through door M6). This hotel is similar to a Marriott Moxy- no closets, etc. just a comfortable bed and bathroom in a small space. Good for one night.

AustriaFor the rooms with windows in the winter, there is no radiator and the windows are not properly sealed. The cold can get into the room all the time. The walls are so thin that you can even hear your neighbor’s phone. The receptionists are not so welcoming.

Hong KongOne of the shower head at the shared bathroom is broken, the shower foam is not refill regularly and one of the hair dryer is broken with taping (which could be dangerous). Staff could be more responsive and provide detailed and clear direction on how to get to the hotel.
Nice to have an upgrade to a bigger room. The room is clean, cozy and comfortable. Walking distance to Taipei Main Station (less than 5 mins) and plenty of eateries nearby. Family Mart just downstairs, added to the overall convenience.

Hong KongIt's very overpriced. I've stayed in similar accommodation in the same area and of the same standard for half the price. I just wanted to try another hotel, that's all.
Everything was working but it's just too overpriced I think. The location would be the greatest advantage.

CanadaWhen using the basin, it is easy to spill to the counter as it is small, behind the sink is moldy, toilet roll dispenser doesn’t hold the paper well, nowhere to hang and dry hand washed clothing and the post wash smell spreads slightly although not a deal breaker
Such helpful staff! My tour group got cancelled and i also cannot make up my mind how to plan my 2 weeks in taiwan in different cities. The staff really spent so much time listening to me, looked at typhoon forecast prediction, listen to my interests and concerts, and made suggestions. Room is cute, compact and stylish, can choose rooms to include washroom, wifi is good throughout the 2 floors, cute lobby area, prime location walking distance from taipei main station. Very high value and great pricing.

PhilippinesThe price of the room was bit high-priced for a "shared-bathroom with no-window type". The cost of my tiny single bed room with shared bath can be equalled to a nice looking Lyf Hotel in Fukuoka with ensuite bathroom. There was a peculiar smell inside my room, at the shower area and at the hallway. My lady companions who were billeted in a triple room said there was no bidet in the female toilet.
The location was superb, just a few steps away from M6. The internet connection was excellent especially at the lobby's lounge and work area. We arrived super late, good thing, this hotel has 24-hour front desk.
