Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

TaiwanMy only complaint is that I could hear everything (really, everything) that the person in the room next to me did or said. And each night, someone was either up very late or very early, so don't book if you are sensitive to noise and looking for uninterrupted sleep. Otherwise, it was a dream of a place!
The staff are very helpful. Beds are incredibly comfy. Big window in the rooms that have windows. The shared showers / bathrooms are nice and easy to use. The location simply can't be beat -- it is right next to the Taipei Main Station. My single room also had a sink in it, which was unexpected and convenient.

AustraliaThings I didn’t like: number 1 thing is the very very slow wifi speeds. I stayed in room C13 so it meant I had to connect to the met wifi extender and that was very slow and disconnects often. I had to connect to the Starbucks wifi that’s nearby. There’s only 1 laundry machine on level 4 as the one on level 3 is broken.
What I liked: location, value for money, quiet, low noise

ThailandWe booked a room for three people but stayed with only two, yet the room still felt quite small. The atmosphere was dim and damp because the bed frame was made from pallet wood. The counter in dry area of the bathroom was also made of OSB wood. The bed was uncomfortable as it had a spring mattress with a thin topper, making it hard to sleep on. The room appeared clean, but I got bitten by bed bugs every night. On the first night, I had 7–8 bites. I reported it to the front desk, and they apologized, saying they would change the bedsheets. However, on the second and third nights, I still got bitten 2–3 more times. Unfortunately, I had an allergic reaction, which made me extremely itchy—definitely not a pleasant stay. The kitchen area was spacious but felt damp and not very clean. I chose this place because of the good reviews, which mentioned cleanliness and its proximity to Taipei Main Station. However, I was very disappointed with the cleanliness.
The location is near MRT Taipei Main Station

SingaporeThey uses a dust mop to sweep the floor hence rooms are rather dusty. During my 4 days there I don't think they ever vacuum it. There is layers of dust at the corners of furnitures. I didnt mind much but for those who are more sensitive to take note of. I book a windowless room so had to get used to it, a typical room for the price you pay for.
They have a lobby for you to take a break or work at, with decent wifi and power. You can also keep food and microwave stuff there which i didnt really use. Amenity like hot water and aircon are working well.

United Arab EmiratesNo sound proofing. I purposely booked a private room yet you could hear everyone on the entire floor. Someone was using the hair dryer for 1hr at 1am. Also the shower was broken so while paying for a private bathroom, it wasn’t possible to use the shower.
The location is convenient for the main station. Staff were also very friendly and helpful

AustraliaThe hotel has mould in the private shower. It is full of humidity and dust. Likely the result of the rooms having no access to outdoor air. The windows are completely inaccessible as the whole hotel has been refurbished on top of the old architecture, creating sealed boxes for rooms. It looks like nothing has been deep-cleaned ever. The covers weee yellow, the pillows were old and smelled. It really needs a deep clean of the whole hotel in addition to dehumidifiers in every room. The electric ones, because the little boxes with dehumidifier balls were doing nothing. Do not stay here unless you cannot afford anywhere else.
Nothing.

AustraliaThe only clothes washer-dryer was broken and had been out of order for quite a while according to staff. There was a washing machine on another floor but NO drying facilities. One of the two male toilets on my floor (for 50 rooms!!) did not work and had been out of order for some while. The rooms are advertised as "soundproof " but I could hear every word from zoom calls in the adjacent room. The only storeage space was the top of the small desk. There was ample room above it for shelves. The staff are helpful and do the best that they can. The problems appear to be poor management. Great location but poorly run. Not reccomend.
Helpful staff.

Hong KongFemale staff are not very friendly when I told them about the noise in the room. Staff with the name Michelle also was not helpful when I encountered issues with payment during the stay. Staff claimed that their payment machine can only accept tap but not passwords - I have never seen a credit card machine that doesn't offer passwords but only contactless. Staff can use some training with different international payments. Room was very humid and you could hear the water running from the pipes upstairs. Poor ventilation - upon returning home, my whole luggage smelled of the dampness from this room. Kitchen had a funny smell and sewage smells were also common in the shared showers and bathrooms. Unsure why this hostel is so highly rated as I have seen better ones but perhaps people like its location. Would not return to this hotel next time I stay in Taipei - only good for location but no other pros.
Great location that is very accessible to the airport and Taipei Metro. Male staff at night with the surname 張 was very friendly and accommodating for requests.

AustraliaDurning my stay, the room I was assigned has a broken AC, it didn’t react to remote control, the temp can’t be turn down nor changing the fan speed, couldn’t get the swings working either. The room was staying at 26 degrees which was too hot for me. There was no shower head in my bathroom, I can only squat down to wash my body under the taps… Apart from these two big let down, everything was alright with the price.
Location is great, very close to the main station and MRTs, many shops and department stores around. Late night food choices too.
