Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaRoom looks a bit dated and a number of scuffs on the wall. Overall clean otherwise.
Enjoyed the snacks and ice cream provided as part of the stay in the common lounge area. The reception looks quite modern and the staff are friendly. Reasonably convenient location between the 2 main MRT lines (approx 10 min walk).

IrelandIt's a basic hotel. The breakfast room is cramped. If full upstairs you have to go up and down the stairs to get to food station for refill. The rooms are noisy and bathroom drain in.my first room was very smelly. I got moved to the basement which thankfully was quiet.
Location was excellent as I could walk to Farmosa station and night markets easily.

MalaysiaThe distance from the nearest metro station may be a bit inconvenient, but the satisfaction of staying at this hotel makes the walk totally worthwhile. There are convenient store & restaurants nearby the hotel, only the metro station far a bit.
The breakfast is very nice, with a lot of choices. They are providing free ice-cream and snacks 24 hours, and the ice cream is delicious. All the staff we met are very friendly and helpful. 10/10 for their attitude.

PhilippinesThe bed lost some of its comfort when two beds were combined to create a bigger bed because of the joined edges. Also, I think there is a problem with the plumbing on the 5F. Water at the shower area accummulates but will subside after some time.
Breakfast is good with great choices. Convenient snacks bar. Laundromat is next door also operated by the hotel. The housekeeping team maintain the rooms very well. Front desk asked for the most convenient time for them to clean and did so every day. Bed is comfortable with linen and blankets smelling clean. Location is a 5-10 minute walk from the Orange Line. Japanese style toilets.

TaiwanThere are a couple things to say here: 1) I found multiple strands of hair on the floor next to the bed when I first checked in, there were also some clinging to the side of the bed sheets. We had just checked in so there was no way this was my hair or any of my family's hair. This knocked down the cleanliness rating, as this is a basic part of hotel cleanliness and was disappointing to see. 2) On June 29, when we first arrived at the hotel between 11am and 1pm, my cousin asked for ice he could put in his portable ice pack because he had just had a tooth extraction and was in pain. He was informed by both staff members present (there was a young female and young male) that the hotel did not have any ice they could provide. Later that same day when we arrived back at the hotel around 8pm-10pm, the staff members at the front desk were different and my cousin decided to ask again about ice. This time, the staff members present (both middle-aged men) were kind enough to bring out a big plastic bag filled with ice for my cousin. This discrepancy in service based on staff members is an extremely big issue with hotel service. I hope this problem can be addressed to improve service in the future.
The hotel had a welcoming vibe and the room exceeded my expectations (in terms of size and layout). The 24/7 lounge with snacks and drinks was a nice amenity. Good location and breakfast was acceptable. Staff could be more friendly though, some were nice, while others were a bit rude and dismissive.

GermanyFurniture and overall design of the hotel are a bit outdated and the room smelled like cigarettes - probably from earlier times when smoking was still allowed.
Amazing breakfast on two floors and free ice-cream and coffee all day - we just loved it! The staff were amazing and spoke perfect English. The location is also just great - just a few steps away from a famous night market and Formosa Boulevard station.
