I really recommend OC hostel to anyone! I would stay here myself again if I ever visit Taiwan again. The host King is really exceptional!So kind and welcoming. Really enjoyed the tea moment with you :) I had a private room and it was a good room. It was big, had silent enough AC and even a nice sitting corner. Bed was very comfortable. Opportunity for laundry was great!

Such a great place and communication with King via whats app was so easy as well as with his wife at the hostel. The location is in a beautiful quiet neighbourhood. I love the city as well. I can highly recommend. A place where you instantly feel.at home

Location is amazing, really comfy bed, but what truly made the difference is the amazing host (and staff). He helped with any question we had, hosted a tea ceremony and was overall just very nice. Highly recommend staying here!

Super nice experience!!! Tainan is awseome but it us better staying at OC hostel. The owner is suuuper nice and they have a very cute dog. They also let us use the laundry for free which was nice and they showed us the tea ceremony. It was awesome. Good wifi.

I had a fantastic stay at this hostel in Tainan! The host was incredibly welcoming and kind, making my experience even more enjoyable. The location is perfect—central and convenient for exploring the city. The facilities are clean and well-maintained, with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. If you have the opportunity, I highly recommend joining the tea tasting session with the host—it’s a unique and delightful experience! Would definitely stay here again.

stairs are steep. ventilation isn't the best. a lot of mosquitoes that give very itchy bites (but that's just more the city) so come prepared with insect repellent

Perfect location close to a lot of attractions. The surrounding area is beautiful and great to walk around as well as having many cafe's, restaurants and bars. The accommodation is lovely with plenty of space, comfortable beds and free access to laundry facilities! The host is also very friendly and always happy to help out with recommendations.

We looked for the accommodation in Tainan that didn’t suffer from any complaints like bad hygiene or loud noise at night. This hostel was just overall a good place to stay. Staff was kind and helpful

Minor element to have in mind No mirror in the room On the 4th floor. If you shower in the morning the pressure is low. It takes about 5 min to get to optimal pressure. I couldn't understand how to use the kettle so needed to go to the 1st floor to get water. Then to the second floor for hot water. Then to my room. But to be fair I did not really ask either.

Friendly staff. Big windows. Big room. Quiet place. Comfortable beddings. Do check the jewelry shop next to them "MenWen" it's so cute they have a "harry potter" like design

My stay at OC Hostel was outstanding! The room was very spatious and nice and the host was extremely helpful and friendly. He helped me with my taxis and HSR tickets and invited me to try some really good tea. The location of the hostel is nice as well: in a cosy alley, close to Chikan Tower and only 15 min walk from the station. Can definitely recommend!

Bear in mind the single room is on the third floor and there is no elevator! Not an issue for me, because it also provides you with more privacy, but good to mention.

The hostel is located in a very central part of Tainan, close to many shops, restaurants and well-connected to other places of interest around town. The owner is very kind and knowledgeable, we had very nice and informative chats. I stayed in the single room on the top floor and it felt like a homestay, the room was spacious and quiet, AC was working perfectly and I had a very good rest at night. Totally recommended if you're headed to Tainan!
