incredible view, room was large, bathroom layout was good. Host was very kind and accommodating. Bus station right by accommodation. Surrounding area had nice tea farms/shops and a nearby viewpoint west towards Chiayi.

Really great B&B run by a family. They were super welcoming and helpful with anything I needed. It’s clean, comfortable and in a great location. If you want to go up to watch the cloud ocean at sunset from here it’s about an hour walk. The address on booking.com is for their prior location which is a 5 min walk from their newer location just as a heads up. Would message the host so they know you’re coming and help guide you. Also they only take cash so remember to bring cash for payment.

Jimmy is a great host! And provides multiple tips and tricks in the neighborhood depending on your plans. Jimmy even waited with me for the bus to make sure the bus wouldn’t skip the stop. This is such a hidden gem of a B&B. I would definitely recommend it and come again.

My husband and I have traveled to more than 15 countries over the past 15 years and this was one of the best B&B's we have ever stayed at! The hospitality by Jimmy, the property manager, and his family was outstanding. Jimmy speaks excellent English;) We arrived in the rain and they came out with umbrellas to meet us so we wouldn't get drenched! The B&B is newly built. Everything is pristine. The room is bright, spacious and clean. The beds are comfortable. The breakfast is good. And the balcony views! OMG, the views are spectacular!!!

The host family shows great hospitality during our stay. They did not only treat us famous Alishan tea, but also gave us a ride to another sightseeing point when we said we were in a tight schedule. The whole family is very nice! 😆

We stayed with Jimmy and his family for two days, Jimmy studied in the United States, so his English is excellent, which makes it very easy to communicate freely with him. We got a lot of great advice for travelers in Alishan.

Nothing. We were driving up Alishan so it was not a big problem to drive to Alishan Forest entrance.

The hosts are super friendly and welcoming. We even had tea sessions with the hosts and they let us try the different kinds of tea leaves which they grow themselves. We were there during winter and the heated toilet seat was just superb 😊. The beds were very comfortable too. There is a heated water dispenser at the accom so we do not need to buy or boil water.

The Minsu is exceptionally clean and new. We love the offering of tea brewing in front of us and serving us like old friends gathering without any charges. Very warm and cosy feeling. The room comes with a heater, which is very much needed. The view of the room is beautiful with mountains and clouds.

I enjoyed some tea with the owners shortly after I checked in. The tea was delicious but the company was even better. The owner spoke English, which was very nice for me. My room was excellent. Everything is new. The view from the balcony is fantastic. Jimmy also helped me with my logistics before I got there. He even dropped me off at Fenqihu after I checked out.

Everything's great; there's nothing to dislike.

The exceptional host and family welcomed us with enthusiasm and warmth from afar and continued to show amazing hospitality of which we've not seen elsewhere. They went out of their way to accommodate our needs during our three nights' stay. Such selfless acts included calling around to find a restaurant opened during Lunar New Year's Eve that served vegan food, then driving us to and from the restaurant as we were without a car. Fluent English speaking, Jimmy and his parents wore smiles on their faces for all and offered their own farm-grown teas freely, along with snacks and chats to ease each guest. The room itself was clean, modern and arranged with all the necessities of comfort, such as AC, heater, dehumidifier, hot water kettle and bidet. But what we loved the most was the beautiful Elephant Mountain view from our room's small, private balcony where we sat each morning while we ate breakfast. The vista and fresh mountain air were so inviting, we sorely missed it (even though we had just left this morning) and look forward to going back again in the near future.
