To start the guy at the reception is very unfriendly. WARNING you can pay only by cash and the hotel take deposit that is return 1 month after on the top of the payment (first time that happen to me in asia!!!) Second the room is very tinny so no space to move.. I asked to change the bed and have the lower one and the guy after arguying 15 mins while there were an entire room empty gave me the bed but charged me 30$!! Never I have been charged to get the lower bed in dorm while it is available with no problem!! The toilets are dirty.. they never clean under the bed.. It is very noisy as you could hear everything going on in the corridor as the walls are very thin.. You need to press buttons that make big noise each time you leave the room which aware people when you go to toilet in the middle of the night.. The locker are in the room which is not convenient while in the others hôtels there are in corridor before the room which is convenient when you need to take the bags early morning.. There is wayyyy better option in Taipei for 1USD more with better quality and service.. really avoid this hostel!!!

1st of all, staff kept repeating things they have mentioned it for multiple times. 2nd, the curtain is filthy, dirty and disgusting and we have left message to the customer service and it is still not changed.

Fascist policy of no-refunds on mistaken bookings. The owner/manager basically scams people. Additionally, the rooms aren't particularly clean. The bathrooms are old and very unfriendly vibe. If possible avoid this place.

1. I compared this hotel with similar ones in Japan' fukuoka and Osaka and Thailand' Patong It's dirty, I smelt bad things in the common Toilet and shower room. I can't be decribed clean. Moreover, very different from the picture it presents. 2. I was given the Upper Bunk bed, it's very inconvenient for me to climb up and down, even some kind of dangerous. And the room is very crowded,OMG. 3. The stuff service is not good, just superfacial.

Location and cozy lobby

Stuff is not available from evening to morning if some urgent thing like I had (leave to airport and take luggage from locked stuff’s room) it’s a stress. Off course no check in after 11pm so I have to sleep in the lobby. Almost missed flight because of this thing. Overpriced stay on weekends.

There was a terribly snoring co-guest, because of whom we couldn't sleep at all (some other guest even slept in a lobby due to that). The hostel's staff didn't agree to give us a place in another room nor refund our next night. We finally went somewhere else, losing money for one night. On top of that, wifi worked well only in the lobby. In the room, there was a slit in a window where the air from the outside goes through. The lockers doesn't seem sturdy enough to prevent a theft. The AC is not too efficient with 8 people sleeping in a room. You need to have cash to pay.

A hostel atmosphere where you can meet many different people. The location is pretty great. The bathroom was relatively clean.

Musty, smelly, itchy and noisy. There is very limited space for me to open my suitcase. If a mixed dorm room is fully packed, it means there are 10 people sleeping at the same time, which means that someone must be snoring, someone’s phone must be ringing, someone’s phone got a notification ding, someone must be getting up and down, etc. and there is only a curtain fencing around the bed, which means that the noise is just so bad that I can’t sleep. The price is steep in weekends too, like omg.

The only one guy staff who is in charge of everything in all 14 rooms, including trash, luggage deposit, check in and out, complaints, etc. is helpful and never abandoned to help. There is also one lady, but it seems like her duty is keeping a resting b face rather than housekeeping and being a helpful receptionist. The communal space is well designed, but it gets a bit too crowded at like 9pm to 11pm.

I didn’t ask for get the bunk bed upstairs, yet, the bunk bed I got it’s the upstairs. I asked if it’s possible to get the first floor bunk bed, yet, the answer is no, because it’s booked. Yet, until above 11:00 pm past checkin time, no one’s there in the bed that I preferred. The stair in the bunk bed is pretty dangerous if your legs is quite slippery after from the shower room, yet, there’s no rug there, so if not sweeps with towel first, you could fall easily either on way up or way down. The slamming door happened too frequently. Yet, it’s quite loud although already use my earphones through the night. I wonder how many dB it is.

They should not push the regular client or at least someone who is comfortable to stay for some days there. They are so pushy about booking, they are so enthusiastic about policies that's too much. Please refund my money and stop stealing money from people as well as lying for money sake. They said it was a authorisation charged and now I see there was a cancellation?
