Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe hotel is a little bit run down, and the room is quite small compared to my expectations. After placing the suitcase, there really isn't much space to walk around. It could also get a little bit noisy at night, but it's expected given the location. Overall, very functional if you spend all day outside, and a good place to come back and sleep, and go again tomorrow.
Exceptional location, at the heart of Taipei, probably takes 90 seconds from your hotel doorstep to the metro station. Shops and restaurants all around the hotel, in case you feel lazy to go far.

PhilippinesThere is bad smell in the room everytime we enter & after being away for more than 4-6 hours, the floor carpet have stain, the roof & wall have stain, the cover of one chair beside sofa have stain The reception staffs are less accomodating or does not focus well to customer request. i booked 2 rooms for a week & requested those rooms to be in one floor, and i told them my personal reason, that its a family booking, and parent needs to be closer to the kids, and they just say 'sorry no room is available'. I can accept if they can't do it for the first day, but I'm staying for a week, what about other days... My wife had difficult time moving things between 2 rooms, and especially during peak hours where lifts have long queue, so she's taking the stairs at times
Very good location - near metro station and one famous night market. Restaurant for breakfast was good, lots of food choices and serving was quick. Check in & check out were smooth & fast.

PhilippinesThere was a water leak in our room on the first few days. I did report it to the staff and they immediately fixed it. But would be better if the could have checked the rooms first for issues before having guests.
Location is very convenient, right across Ximending walking district. Connected to a train station and bus stops making it easy to navigate the city. Hotel is clean, lobby is big and welcoming.

SpainThe floors and walls were dirty and stained. I was staying with my two children and they told me we couldn’t have an extra towel for my youngest who is under 6, which I have never encountered before.
The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with many options. Location was perfect: very central and easy to access the MRT. Pony in reception was very friendly and helpful in helping find ice after my child bumped his head.

Indonesiafor an expensive four stars hotel, the breakfast options weren’t as much as we expected and it was the same breakfast every single day but that’s not the main topic I want to complain. We have to change our room three times due to the problems we received from the first day we stayed here. the first day when we checked in to the room, the carpet in front of our room was wet and the moment we went into the room, there was this weird smell and trashes from the previous visitor were still there. So we ask for our room to be change and luckily we got a better room although the smell were still there. The next day, we found the previous visitors socks under the sofa and my brother’s and my cousin’s neck were full of rash, so we all assumed that it was the bed’s bedbugs. Because we don’t want the rash to happen to the other family members we then ask the staff to change our room again. The respond from the staff was pretty fast in the crowded check out time which relieves our anxious towards the bedbugs. we got another room and this one was thankfully a lot better. The room had no smell. Everything was all fine, although we had to visit the clinics for the bedbug rash. I do hope this hotel can upgrade their cleanliness to the room because this is a four star hotel, and we paid a lot for this hotel so we all of course wanted to also have the four stars service. I’m sorry if my review is super long because I just don’t want any other visitors to experienced the same thing just like my family had to.
honestly I like the staff’s fast respond towards my problem, they spoke English fluently and the location was super strategic. It’s near the famous market on the town. I do think there are lots of room for improvements not only on the room, but also on the breakfast aisle.

SwitzerlandThere are way too many group tourists and young budget travellers, you may find yourself surrounded by noise. During peak hours, it may take 10 mins to take a lift. Staff look overworked too. At nights, people (not hotel customers) drink and smoke outside the hotel, making the environment not quite pleasant. Facilities are also very dated, eg: stains all over the corridor carpet. Sound proof needs improvement.
The location is very convenient, right next to Ximen subway station and the shopping district.

SingaporeDusty room. Mouldy and dusty toilet. Window bay is filled with a thick layer of dust. Booked a family room (2 double bed) for 2 adults n 1 kid. Provided only 2 sets of towels n 2 water. Water is fine, we can purchase ourselves. On the first night requested for 1 extra towel but did not come. 2nd day morning requested again and did not came. 2nd day 4pm called to reception again then the towel finally came, but the towel is stained with blood stain. I am quite a regular traveller to taiwan n stayed in this hotel for at least 4-5 times. But this time quite disappointed with the room n service.
