No reception is OK ! But the direction&signage to the property is not friendly for the first time or overseas traveler. I also found other travelers having problems to find the property and could not open the door with digital key.

What a fantastic place. So so cosy, warm heater, the most comfy bed ever, big duvet (it was raining when we were there and the place was the perfect retreat). Crazy hot shower (be careful - start with cold!). Quiet place. Even had a shoe dryer for our wet shoes. The breakfast at the cafe (which is also so cute and unique) was lovely too. One of the favourite places we stayed in the last 3 years. Just a great comfy retreat.

It only happened at night. The bathroom drain was clogged during shower.

The room was clean. There’s AC, dryer, TV and Wi-Fi. The bathroom is not fully separate. But for weekdays, the price is a bargain.

Rooms were not made up during our stay - not such a drama there, but emptying of the bins (especially the bathroom bin with the toilet paper) would have been nice.

Very clean and comfortable guesthouse in a decent location in Jiufen above the Old Street. Communication with host was fine and done via WhatsApp with ample pre-arrival information and very helpful information throughout our stay.

Lovely and cute room with comfy bed. Nice sea view nearby. We love the little cute and unique cafe that we can order our yummy breakfast. Provided useful guide video to show how to get to the accommodation.

This area is very nice but it is not bicycle friendly, the last 3.5k to The Twilight Homestay you will climb 245 metres at 8 to 10% grade, just to be met by some very steep steps and narrow paths leading to the property. There are signs along the way but you can easily get misplaced. It is not an easy location to find. It is a self check in and you will not receive the entry codes until you arrive and not a minute before check in time. All communication is done through the Line app.

The property is close to the Old Street, just be aware when it say 300 meters away from the market it is steep steps down and backup. Nice size room and clean. Very good free wifi connection.

I might have rated higher had we not been stuck in the room for our entire stay due to monsoon/typhoon heavy rains. The room was small (which is reflected in the cost), and no staff onsite (but they were available on WhatsApp at any time to assist)
