Since the rooms all have large glass windows, you can see into the other rooms. Not a huge deal as you can lower the shade of just one window to allow more privacy and still have good views.

Great location with views of the lake. They offer a breakfast which isn't anything special but is nice to enjoy on the waterfront without having to go anywhere. The room was comfortable and quiet.

Toilet seats with hot sitting during cold seasons is a bonus point but not a must. If hotel can provide lunch n dinner with a fee of course, that will be great.

The staffs are very responsive, helpful and friendly. They are very cheerful esp the only lady who always give her brightest smile & greet is, gives a lot of information. 👍😊 The Breakfast is also very delicious too with high tea provided. Very unique. The scenery is awesome and amazing.

The B&B is a bit off the tourist route given it a quieter atmosphere. The amenities are basic and the room is clean. Most importantly, the lake view from the room is amazing. Also the terrace by the lake is a great place to rest and take in the view.

The staff was really nice, the tea proposed in the afternoon and the snacks were fine. The view from the room was amazing!!! The breakfast was good.

Disappointed that coffee machine was not working during our entire breakfast time. Had a little hard time finding the switch to turn off the light next to the bed.

We got the big, top floor panorama room. Floor to ceiling windows, looking out on the lake. Very cool. Breakfast was excellent. Convenient to the port and market. Ita Thao has a much better market and activity than Shuishe.

The room we were assigned had really dirty windows which meant you couldn't see the view. When we spoke to staff initially they said they need to get a window cleaner which would apparently take 6 months. When I showed a photo of what the room looked like, they were surprised as if they had not seen the room themselves but then offered to switch to a similar room on a lower floor. They also don't have an iron.

Thought we'd see more of Moon Lake from our waterfront window. Our delegated parking spot was used by others so parking was an issue on one night there.

The afternoon tea tasting. The area is interesting and nice to walk around. It's waterfront so you can see the boats coming and going from the piers from a raised platform in the room. It has a table and two chairs.

1) Great location (lakefront and short walks to everything) 2) Very clean and spacious room (both shower and AC worked great) 3) Delicious breakfasts with a variety of meats, veggies and breads everyday 4) Nice afternoon tea time from 3pm to 7pm 5) They partner with a bike rental company that is very accommodating and helpful (with a discount coupon too). They also have discounted ferry tickets and cable car tickets at the front desk 6) Most importantly they have the BEST staff! Everyone of them was SUPER pleasant and helpful! They genuinely care about their customers. We had to stay for an extra day because of typhoon but they happily facilitated our hotel reservation in Tainan for that day to ensure that we are were charged for it yet not to lose the entire reservation. Can NOT thank them enough!!!

Not much at all, except maybe the elevator is quite small fitting only 4 people, and the mattress and pillows are a bit too soft for our liking.

Lakeside, beautiful scenery, close to shops and eateries, afternoon teas, morning breakfasts, super helpful staff, well maintained facilities, free parking right next to the hotel, and nice hot shower.

The staff were great. The woman that greeted us explained everything in detail and gave us info and directions for navigating around the lake. She was super friendly. The room was spacious and had a fantastic lake view just like the picture. The location is very good, near the main street.

If you are staying for multiple nights, breakfast variety is not great, lift is quite small for 4 pax with luggage and unstable heater for my room.

Location is convenient for going around Sun Moon Lake, there is a small street market within walking distance and great service from the team.

The staff at this hotel were absolutely exceptional. They were kind, helpful, thoughtful and friendly. We would definitely recommend and will come back again. Perfect location close to everything and quiet with a stunning view over Lake for breakfast.
