Special great thanks for the kind offer of free shower service after check-out for the Sun-Moon Lake cross-lake swimming festival attenders like us. Thank you thank you thank you!!!!! Not a dislike, more of a missed opportunity; it would be amazing if the hotel had a bar or something. The veranda would be great! Especially since the rest of Ita Thao goes quiet after 8PM, a nice hotel at with that view would be gold!

Great view, in a quiet corner of Ita Thao. The beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean. The staff was friendly staff. Lovely veranda. And there was a nice bike rental place nearby.

Most of the staff don't really speak English so communication is a challenge. I used a combination of hand gestures and Google translate and eventually the message gets through. It just takes a bit of patience and an awareness that you are in a foreign country so you would not expect everyone to speak your language.

The host was incredible. She was friendly and attentive and really made the effort to make sure I was comfortable. And when I had a question that couldn't be answered by the other staff she even came over on her day off to help me. I got the room with the lake view and it was beautiful just like in the pictures. There are a few charming spots around the accommodation that you can explore and an Aboriginal food street about 5 minutes walk away. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and would recommend it to anyone. IG/TikTok @steven.cky

No toiletries in the room, need to ask from the reception and they will offer you. May consider to place Toiletries in the room will be better. Instead of go round and by pass the receipt area and through front door to dine outdoor , it will be better if they can unlock the dinning door so guests can have their breakfast at the outdoor dining area or when the indoor dining area is full. It will be much more better and convenient.

The breakfast was great, offer Western and Chinese menu. Location was great too, we arrived on 6/16-18 late evening, the Staffs on duty were all very helpful and friendly and very patient and attentive.*****They stayed late and even offer us welcome snack . The female staff explained what are the snack served and is really taste nice and next day we even bought the snack from the stall that she recommended. The room were big (2 double bed room, good for family with kids) with great lake view, bed super comfortable, we rested well. We enjoy sitting at the outside of the hotel and looking over the lake with morning coffee. The location is very convenient only few minutes walk down to the busy streets and the prier, and tourist attraction area. Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village 10mins drive from location, great and fun place to visit too with all the amusement park ride.

Lovely homestay hotel where the owners put in effort in maintaining it clean and friendly. They immediately offered to mend my backpack when they saw that the strap broke. Good side view of the lake and ports. Indeed a rare find.

The view from the room overlooking the lake was gorgeous despite the fact that water level of the lake was down. Location was great and the bed possibly one of the most comfortable on our trip. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the inclusive breakfast also very good.

The hotel location is good. I went during low tide But there is a beautiful view from the room. Especially the staff is very helpful to me. Recommended to buy cruise tickets with the hotel will be cheaper.

The inner pier was drought when we visited. It's not worthy when we booked the 3-sided pier front view room. The cleanliness of the smoking area when having breakfast. Toilet should have a hand-held bidet.

please note that, as the hotel doesn’t have a shuttle service, you need to get to the town bus terminal before 5 pm which is the last schedule for the only bus that’s goes to the hotel… if you arrive later than that the only way to get there is by taxi that’s cost 600, which is excesive.

A little disappointment as two travellers and paid for 4 travellers price in order to get a better view, but what you see was not the same as photo shown. Overall still ök.

Breakfast options were kinda basic. Lots of moisture in the room, aircon could be optimized. Neighbourhood is VERY quiet during off-season.
