Betty and Emma could not have been more helpful. They helped us plan our trip to the mountains and looked after our luggage. The room was super clean and comfortable. Good shower. Also nice to have breakfast included. A great little find!

The bathroom is a bit on the small side especially the sink area but it’s definitely not a deal breaker as the rest of the room and property are very very comfortable.

It is a new place, the design is also quaint, really nothing much to dislike.

The hosts (sisters) were so friendly and helpful. The place is small but full of pleasant surprises like massaging chair/rocking chair in room, games in the shared area, ready made tea, ice, dishwasher, we were even given beautiful water bottles so much so my kids were too disappointed to know we could only stay for one night. The soft-spoken sisters were really great and even sent us off to the car in the early morning, almost like a member of the family sending off someone close. The breakfast was at a cafe just opposite Warmday. We were given a voucher each which could deduct twd75 off per voucher (can be used together) and the breakfast was surprisingly good for a small place like this.

Normally there is a restaurant across the street that provides breakfast. However, it was closed the morning we were there. The owners gave us coupons to buy breakfast at 7-11 and apologized for the inconvenience, but it would have been nice to have breakfast closer to the hotel.

The owners/managers were extremely nice. They helped us get our luggage (we had a lot of luggage!) to our room. The space on the first floor (table, chairs, coffee, tea things) was very nice and we took advantage of the space to eat breakfast. The location was good - there was a nice park nearby and the night market and many restaurants are close by. The owners recommended a restaurant that served the turkey-rice that is a specialty of the city and it was quite good. The room was very clean and nice, but a bit small with all of our luggage. However, the bed was comfortable and the linens were quite nice. The bathroom looked like it had been recently redone and was also very clean.

If you stop by Chiayi and spend time in the area, please stay at Warmday Homestel. We highly recommend this establishment! The team who welcomed us was so kind and friendly (and speaks English), the room was very comfortable and well-equiped, the breakfast provided by a shop in the same street was good, the neighborhood’s vibes are nice and the house is located close to both the train station and the night market. Our stay was unfortunately too short and we regret we were not able to stay longer. My wife especially loved all the details and gifts: the black sesame pudding, the homemade iced tea, the traditional Taiwanese candies and sweets, the music played in the speakers of the «hotel», the pictures on the walls at each floor… Such a good address we will remember for a long time!

The sisters who own this hostel are fantastic. They were so generous and fun, and ran a marvelous B and B. It is extremely close to the train station, and yet quiet. We liked going across the street to pick up our breakfast in the morning, and the night market (and turkey rice restaurants!) were very close. Whatever we needed was anticipated, and they went out of their way to make our stay more than excellent! We strongly recommend staying here for all of the reasons above and more.

The two delightful owners gave us a fabulous welcome and obviously take enormous care to ensure visitors have an enjoyable stay. They are well travelled and speak good English, so there was no need for Google Translate. Also they were always ready with tips on where to go and eat. Our modern room was spotless and colourfully decorated, while the owners gave us a voucher for a good breakfast at a cafe across the street. Warmday Homestel is very conveniently located, close to the station, including the Alishan Forest Railway, as well as the night market and restaurants in Chiayi's buzzy centre.
