We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

CanadaThe room was quite austere. It was a good size, but it needed some colour or artwork on the white walls. Because of its location, the mirror in the room was pretty useless.
Friendly staff. Although there were some language barriers, they made an effort to convey information. (Google Translate was very useful.) Very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Mine was the quietest room I have had on a three-week trip. The hotel is located in an interesting area of the city.

New ZealandWould have given it a 10 but the room stunk strongly of cigarettes even though they’re supposed to be smoke-free.
Great facilities, including full kitchen, coffee machine and washer/dryer. Room was spotless with comfortable bed large bathroom with seperate wet and dry and great shower pressure. Staff spoke good English and were very welcoming and always helpful. Common are and kitchen were also kept spotless. Decent location in middle of Tainan city.

TaiwanAlthough the tv remote was broken so I had to change a room, it was not really a big deal as the hotel staff were very accommodating and friendly. The coffee machine at the common room starts 7 am is a great bonus.

DenmarkEven the hotel room was ready but I was not allowed to check in earlier. When I went into the room, there is no toilet paper and no hand soap in the toilet.
New renovated hotel, personnel and the owner are friendly. The location of the hotel is super good.

TaiwanMy card was charged before I arrived and they told me it was the prepayment to secure my reservation. Then I had to pay again upon my arrival for my room. The receptionist assured me the prepayment will release by the end of the month which I waited for about a month to have my money back. Also there was no window/natural light in my room.
The hotel was all new and well located in the center of the city. It's walking distance to most of the major sightseeing places.
