We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United StatesChose a room with an open air tub, but it took so long to fill it that it wasn't really practical. Transom window over the door let in a lot of light from the hallway at night and could maybe use a curtain.
Easily accessible short walk from the ferry station. Walkable to several restaurants, bars and convenience stores. Staff was very helpful and recommended a very affordable scooter rental for our stay and also arranged for someone to pick us up and take us there. Room had TONS of space and the whole building has a colorful, unique design. Weather wasn't quite warm enough to take advantage of the little outdoor pool during our stay, but it would be a great place to cool off on a hot day.

AustraliaRoom is very old and not well maintained. Air conditioning in the room was terrible. Pool was tiny, very shallow, and in direct sunlight for most of the day. Light from the hallway came directly into the room and made it difficult to sleep. Other travelers were super loud all night and kept us up. All in all, one to avoid if possible.
Location was convenient. Staff were friendly and helpful.

TaiwanWe like more than one pillow per person - they did give us 2 more pillows when we asked though. Didn't know the card key is needed for the elevator. When you remove the card key from your room it turns off all power including the refrigerator.
Pool and wet and dry heat saunas were a nice surprise. There were hot and cold filtered water dispensers on each floor. This is the only hotel I have stayed in on Xiao Liuqiu that has an elevator. They actually have 2! They brought us fresh apples soon after we checked in which was nice. Overall a great experience and by far the best hotel we have stayed in over 8 years of coming back to this amazing little island paradise!
