Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

HungaryLocation, staff, amenities, cleanliness, everything was spot on. The only thing I didn't like is that the private room was in the dorm, with a ventillation window open to the common area and only a thin board separating it from two beds. It meant that while I had my private space (fairly big), it was just as noisy as if I stayed in the dorm.

TaiwanI NEVER take taxis so it was a little far of a walk from Taichung Main station. But, that's the only complaint. : ) Oh also, the kitchen has some unusual signs for a hostel "Don't touch"
The front desk girl was friendly. I can only suggest she improve her English more. Unfortunately for her ... my Chinese sucks.

New ZealandOnly one woman’s toilet.
It’s a big room with many bunk beds but you can’t feel it’s many people. Every bed has its own privacy.

Australialocation even though its close to the night markets, it was a 50min bus ride to the tainan high speed rail. just be prepared to travel a long way to this hotel from there. otherwise , once you get there, you have 2-3 night market choices to go too!
super clean. has an elevator for those who have a suitcase(very helpful). nice views at night time. very quiet place to stay. the place was spacious and lots of space for luggage

TaiwanIt's ok that I have to take the elevator to go to the lobby at 7F, but the elevator was full of the smell of smoke, and the elevator was not that obvious to find on the ground floor. The room is located at 8F. I took the stairs from 7F lobby to my room, and there is no door inbetween which made me kinda worried if any strangers could break into hotel's premise even though there is a security camera around.
Though it's weird that the lobby is at 7F, the room itself is not bad. I have enough space in the supreme single room with double bed where I have some space to stretch, and the bed is quite comfy too.

ChileMost of the kitchen appliances could only be used by the staff, which limits the possibility to cook/warm your own food. Breakfast options seemed really reduced, although there was plenty of whatever was offered.
Well located, quiet environment. The lounge area was not big, but there was enough space to eat or do other stuff.

NetherlandsThere was nothing that disappointed me. The location is perfect. Though it's near a street, it's easy to reach from wherever and you're at the station in no time
Breakfast was pretty good. I especially liked that they provided good bread and replenished it as soon as it ran out, and there was ample coffee~ The capsulehotel part was very clean and comfortable, bigger than I expected, with a roll-down curtain to close it off, a reading light and two sockets on a shelf near your pillow. There is a light in the room that stayed on all night, but due to the curtain and the layout of the capsules (and probably the exhaustion) it didn't bother me at all.

United StatesShowers were too small, as in there was no space to keep your clothes and a towel and change that was at least distant from the shower head. Staff was often not present at the front desk. Location was poor, distant from most local food places as for walking travelers
It was clean, staff were reasonably nice.

United KingdomShower would make the whole space wet due to inefficient shower screen. My room wasn’t cleaned in between nights and the frontdesk employees are not available the whole day and barely speak any English.
Simple but efficient rooms. Hotel is located in between most common neighbourhoods of Taichung next to the main road Taichung Boulevard.

United StatesFire alarm starts, we ran through the fire escape, and there was no light, I stepped on piles and piles of cigarette butts, by the time I ran to the 3rd floor, the escape had pile of furnitures/mattress, I almost fell down the stairs, the hostel is on 7th floor, though the fire alarm turned out to be false, but what will happen when there is a real emergency? The hostel and its building have not meet the overall the basic escape rout a hotel business should have, this place is dangerous. Also, I was only who have figured out where the fire escape is located, everyone else didn't even know where its located, so some went down with en elevator, because the main stair way was closed off on 6 floor!
