Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe place is not really soundproofed. We could hear the noise of the scooters in alley at all times of the day and unfortunately on the first night some people next door decided to have a party until 7am. It was horribly loud; like hearing them in the same room. We barely slept that night. The next night was better, but you can hear people's voices often. I had some online meetings and the wifi was not stable. I had to switch between networks a lot. Upon check-in the owner lady made me find my own reservation on her phone, which exposed all other guests info on the screen, so not that great. Also she was a little invasive and didn't fully respect boundaries. The building has a pillar running through it and you have to do a little dance of going around it and changing levels to walk through the hallway. Also it's located in Banqiao and is only so-so convenient. Actually the taxis at Banqiao station refused to drive us to the hotel. 5-6 taxis refused us. Maybe because it was too close (15min walk) for them to bother. But when it's raining and you have luggage it sucks.
It was the cheapest option at the time. There's an elevator if needed, but it's like half sized. The owner kindly gave more water and towels without us asking. The room had towels, toiletries; including toothbrushes, water bottles, TV, and a good shower.

United StatesI guess the beds are what you could call traditional. Off the ground like a regular bed, but very hard. Basically a blanket and sheet covering a wooden board or something. Also no top sheets were provided. Found out later they were available downstairs. Very few power outlets.
Great location near market streets of Fuzhong and its metro station. Very nice lady runs the place. She was very helpful and even gave me some of her herbal stomach pain remedy. It has an elevator, which is great. The bathroom is good size.

CanadaThe hotel is situated on a side street, so when you exit, you have to be careful of zooming scooters while trying to enter the property. The room and building are very old and are in need of repair and renovations, and there is exposed wiring, which in places looks to be protected with masking tape. The washroom is very dirty, and the caulking of the bathtub has not been cleaned in years. The room itself has a terrible atmosphere as it's covered in peeling wallpaper and withe barebones furnishings from the 1940s. Sometime during my stay, I've seen mites and small flies in the room as well. This one is on me as I didn't look at the listing throughly enough to know that this property doesn't take credit cards, only cash. I thought to tell other travelers who are low on cash to be aware of this limitation.
I liked how it was a hotel room at a relatively affordable rate with an ensuite washroom, and the ventilation was there. The room has a TV with some channels which is a plus.

MalaysiaThe design for the hotel is old school but not a problem for me as I love it that way , it's just that the surrounding floors carpet abit dusty, but the room itself was better in the dust issues as it wasn't in carpet but in tiles.
The bed and pillow was clean , especially love the hevay and thick blanket in cold weather, the sound prove of the room was good , they even have a elevator to each floor so it wouldn't be a problem for people who carry a lot of luggage. The water pressure and hot bath works fine, and I had a wonderful bathtub chillax session as well, it was very convenient to just walked out the hotel with tons of local food and morning market, just a 6 to 7 mins to the Fuzhong Mrt station as well. The old husband and wife was friendly/cute..They even upgraded my room to a bigger one since she saw us carried large size luggage and stuff. And I love it with the adapter outlet just next to the mirror in room, it is so convenient for people who use hair dryer or hair electronic products.

TaiwanIt's a very old & tired hotel, but things worked as they should, and it had some (ageing) charm. Could have been cleaner but the bed was spotless and comfy. Corridors smelt of stale cigarette smoke .. never nice.
Brilliant location inside a great market, but not as close to an mrt as I'd like, especially for a late night arrival. Late checkout -midday- was very welcome.
