Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PhilippinesIn our room, the wires and extension cord for the Japanese toilet was near the floor. It could be dangerous if it ever got wet from the shower or faucet. The placement for that should be improved.
Location is very convenient as it's in the middle of Ximending. There are also a lot of free snacks and commodities. Room we stayed in is also quite spacious and very clean.

PhilippinesThe of the room is a bit small which makes it a challenge to open medium and large luggages on the floor. The twin room also does not have a chair for the desk which would have been helpful/useful for remote working.
I love the location as it is situated in the heart of Ximending. Below the building is Uniqlo which makes it easy to find. Just a few steps from it is 7/11 and Starbucks which is convenient for quick bites. Aside from that, there is also an array of food stalls, including the famous Scallion Pancake. Although the hotel is on the 12th floor, it was not an issue as the same building houses Mala Hotpot (a highly-recommended hotpot place by tourists and locals alike), ABC Mart, a cinema, and other restaurants. It makes dining, shopping, etc hassle-free. The hotel also offers free snacks and unlimited drinks by the front desk for the guests which was a plus for me. As of the room, it has all the basic amenities needed for a simple and comfortable stay. Above all, the staff are very accommodating and helpful especially the front desk named Jerry. Kudos to him.

United StatesI would have loved the bed to be a little bit taller so I had a place to sit at a normal height other than the chair. Also there were not too many places to hang clothes, just two hooks. The bathroom also always had flies in it, even after getting rid of them myself, they returned the next day.
I liked the location as well as the free snacks! It was exactly what I needed as a solo traveler. They were also very accommodating when I needed to arrive a day early and also when I had to stay a few days longer when unfortunate circumstances came up. Super appreciative of their flexibility.

PhilippinesThe hotel is a boutique hotel so don't expect a grand lobby. It is simple but enough. It has signs of "old age" and you dont really get the luxurious feeling vs when you stay at 4 or 5 stars hotel. no breakfast in the hotel. Soundproofing can be improved - overall, still a good stay!
Location is superb! Room is exactly what you need - enough to give you a good rest after a long day of walking. Aircon is working perfectly, as well as the water heater. Very very generous with bottled water so you dont need to buy water outside. They have free snacks and drinks at the lobby too 24/7. The staff helped us reserve restaurants for most of our dinner there so we don't need to line up which could be a real challenge with the ximending crowd. I am very grateful.

United StatesI could hear the noise from my neighbors, but I saw the reviews and knowledge prior my booking. I know what I sign up for, just plug in my headphones and I slept well.
I really like the location. It's right at Ximending. Close to MRT. The snack bar was my teenage daughter's favorite. The staffs are awesome and helpful. I've seen the staff cleaning almost every time I go in and out of the hotel. Our flight was 6am in the morning, we're able to drop off the luggage at the hotel then start our journey. They sent me an email and notified me when the room is ready. The staffs made this hotel a pleasant stay. I would definitely recommend and come back for sure. When I was checking out, I saw a scale in the lobby for luggage, the staff was very kind to help me weight the luggage cause I was struggling. Thank you everyone at Skygate .

PhilippinesGreat location, at the center of Ximending; The rooms are cleaned everyday; The hotel staff are all friendly and extremely helpful; There were snacks 24/7 at the 12F including water, coffee, tea, and soda; They even have umbrellas you can borrow when it’s raining! They also have bidet (Japanese style) in their bathrooms 😊
