United StatesIt may seem hard to get to the place. However, with a rental car and some experience driving in national parks (e.g., Olympic National Park in Seattle, Road to Hana in Maui, and San Francisco City), we had no problem getting there.
The hot spring outdoor in the nature! It would be a great getaway deep in the mountains. The personal hot pot for dinner was delicious (need reservation ahead), as well as the breakfast. The female host was friendly and thoughtful.

United StatesWe only stayed one night while visiting this part of Taiwan. Our room was very large and the hotel is very cool in that the hot water is provided by hot springs and not a heater. . It is located in a very remote area with very little nearby. The facilities appear to be recently renovated. I believe there had been a landslide in the area just over 10 years ago and there was ongoing construction but far enough away that we only saw it on the drive to and from the hotel. Staff was very nice and the included breakfast buffet was good.

Taiwan- Roads under construction. The village was impacted by flooding last year (2023). You will need to drive by some under-constructing roads and bridges to get to the place. It’s not dangerous, but I’d definitely recommend you to arrive before the day turns dark.

The breakfast spread was good, and the optional dinner surpassed expectations—especially in this remote town where dining options are scarce. A conveniently located vending machine outside offered a range of beverages, including a satisfying option for beer enthusiasts. Without a doubt, I will wholeheartedly recommend this gem to my circle of friends

The two mineral baths are very pleasant and open late. The bathing suit drier is also useful before hitting the road the next day.
