Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content

- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

It was definitely a value for money stay. I shouldn't expect 4-5 star facilities.
Location! Prompt answers and help from the owner. Free water. Air-conditioned Humid controlled room. Window.

The screen in the bathroom window was covered with dust and lint, which prevented air flow through the window. Also, the shower head holder was cracked and wobbly.
I found the contactless check-in process easy, the owners responded quickly to emails, plenty of restaurants within walking distance, the MRT red line conveniently located a few blocks away, a cute small park next door, the neighborhood was very quiet at night, a great breakfast cafe nearby that serves Chinese pancakes and the generous unique snacks and drinks for the guests were tasty. I would return again.

Our room seemingly was freshly painted and therefore the smell was horrendous. We also felt cold and did not understand how to turn on the heater. Lastly, the shower courtain did not cover the toilet, which I think could have been easily fixed
Great location, free snacks and smart rooms. The shower pressure was amazing ! Bed was also very comfortable.

The bathroom is really small and not thoroughly cleaned.
Location was really close to taipei main station and many places to eat near. Area was very nice even at very late times at night.

A little messy taking shower. No elevator, maybe tricky if you have heavy luggage.
Pretty good location, easy access to transportation. Snack and drink supplies, though have to walk down to basement!

It is a nice experience to be hosted in this hotel. The environment is quite nice and free snacks provided. There is small park opposite the hotel, where you may see some lovely cats and puppies. Location is perfect for a traveler. You may access to MRT by a five-minute walk. Thanks and strongly recommended.

I stayed at this hotel in mid-June. Despite the contactless check-in process, the staff were very responsive on WhatsApp, even though I booked just one day in advance. The location is extremely convenient, with an MTR station only a 10-minute walk away. Situated in a lively neighbourhood, you'll find street food, markets, and convenience stores in every direction. Despite this bustling environment, there's a peaceful park right in front of the entrance. As others have mentioned, this hotel offers great value for money. They provide unlimited free water, juice, lemon tea, and snacks, making it very convenient to come back to after a day out. While there is construction nearby that can be disturbing, we had researched this beforehand and set our expectations accordingly. Since we were out for most of the day, it didn't bother us much. The room was very comfortable, with air conditioning and a dehumidifier making our stay pleasant. Wifi is fast and reliable.

The bed was really hard and there were mosquitos. I didn't like having to leave the key at the desk when I left the site. Whenever someone took a shower or came into the building you could hear it - I think it's because the doors were thin, not the walls.
The "staff" via whatsapp were very clear and provided required information. The location was great and super convenient to hop on busses, subway, etc. The video on youtube provided by the hotel was very clear as to how to reach the location.

I experienced some inconvenience because the sink drain did not drain properly. So I wanted some repair.

room is quite small, and facility and comfort was not as good as expected. I guess for Taipei, this might be fair enough place to have, there are not enough bin and it is hard to clean those things and I don't know how to deal with trash
a fair location with cheap price, not far from main metro station and main street, but this location is near a quiet park, so it is nice to have this place during night time. self-check in is really smooth and I really love it

There's no elevator and our room's on the highest floor - a bit of a workout every day. The staircase and the overall atmosphere smell like old building (could be understandable because we stayed there during rainy and cold weather) - can be fixed by some nice indoor scent diffuser.
Super helpful staff both on-site and online, the facility is clean and quiet at night, plenty of snacks in the basement for free, umbrellas outside free of use - very convenient on rainy days. The instructions are always clear and easy to understand. There are a lot of options for local food around and we enjoyed several different restaurants/night markets
