The hotel is a bit out of town, but they provide a free shuttle service on check in and check out if you don't drive. At other times Shuishe is about 20mins pleasant walk away. The receptionist ladies were very nice, and the breakfast was great, with a good variety of options. The views from the terrace and the room were amazing.

Good location front of the lake. Good breakfast, very nice staff. You can use the bikes for free. Big terrace for breakfast. The hotel is small, 20 rooms (it seems much bigger on the pics).

We wish we could have stayed a day or more longer, but the hotel was unsurprisingly booked up.

Our stay at the hotel was outstanding and one of the highlights of our trip to Taiwan. The staff were friendly and super helpful. Our room was the absolute best! It was large and had it's own balcony with a gorgeous view of the lake. It was also very quiet. We never heard noise from outside or other rooms. The breakfast was delicious and filling and the driver who dropped us at the bus station when we were leaving was so sweet and nice and really capped off a fantastic trip to the area! We would definitely recommend and stay here again. Thank you so much for everything!

Hotel is very comfortable. People who work there are so friendly and helpfull. Nelly helped us a lot. We don't speak Chinese and she offered to call and book a ride to Alishan for us and also a ride to the bus stop. We thank her very much. The hotel offers free bikes and good breakfast. Beautiful view of the lake from the balcony.

Everything was great

Melissa and her team looked after us really well with personal service. The room (#208) was large with a balcony overlooking the lake. The bathroom was great with a lovely hot shower. Beds and linen were all nice. Breakfast was hearty.

The building feels a little worn out. The overall value was still very good, I believe.

Amazing view, the breakfast terrace was very enjoyable, quite a way to start your day, nice service, we were invited to a firefly tour that was great, the kids play area in the lobby was great for our kid. It is really a bamboo garden and I love the pines in front of the terrace. We wish we could stay longer.

The day shift reception is not friendly at all. While we were checking to borrow bike from the hotel and told them that tyre of one bike is flat, the response is that there is nothing she can do for that.

Great location, nice building. Exactly like described. Turned out to be eco organisation which i liked. You can make walks in the direct surrounding. Would have loved to stay longer. They also offer guided (butterfly) walks, which i would have loved to do but i only had one day. Besides, i agree with all other positive reviews already given here by others

The lake view was mostly obstructed by the trees in front of the hotel.

Quiet hotel a bit out of town. The hotel has bicycles that you can use for free (they are good enough for the 2 kms to the town, but I wouldn't use them for a round the lake tour.) There is a bus stop a few min walking from the hotel. The breakfast was simple but good. The staff was really helpful.

I love the room and esp my room views. I could look out through the balcony at different time of the day -to witness sunrise, sunset, after rain and before the climate changes. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Those morning & sunset walks so....unforgetable.

It was all good. We didn’t want to leave

I was perfect for my mom in a Wheel chair. She had a comfy place to relax and we were able to ride the bikes after check out. The staff were really friendly.
