Personnel could be a bit more friendly - we typically experiencing this in Ukraine: the more EAST, the more friendly. Also the don't express words in Hungarian hovewer Bagolyvár is Hungarian name for the place.

We came for family winter holiday. Considering the circumstances, very well arranged, good food and drinks. Services available. Transfer was not according to our schedule, so we took bus from Uzhgorod. Complex is nice, giving opportunity for fishing etc. We didn't have snow - otherwise could have been much more fun.

Amazing place to stay with family for short / long vacation! The nature around is so so wonderful, the river right near the hotel, the SPA, the animals and of course the restourant with local food - everything for having the idea to come back for more)).

The only small negative thing is, that in the room there was much space which is good but would be better with a small table and chairs. This is the only small thing

The beds are not very comfortable. One of our rooms had no airco, only fan. Minor issues, did not ruin our experience, but next time I would book asking for a room with airco and a firm thick matress in advance.

Very nice setup, perfect with children, anything you need is right there. Excellent chef in the restaurant!!! The pool, playground, small zoo, everything was just perfect for our family. Would love to stay here again! Staff is very nice and kind, nobody speaks English but they were still trying their best to help us with anything we needed.

The roads leading to the resort were pretty awful in some places, no fault of the resort though. No female massagists for us 2 girls. I was not comfortable to allow young men to do body massage. Bed could be softer. Very sad to see bunny rabbits in zoo cages with water bowls overturned, and deer caged when they have such beautiful forests to be free. Let them loose and set up feeding stations around the resort, they will come to provide natural enjoyment.

So beautiful! Ukraine is stunning. Loved the bridges over the running river. Very peaceful. Good for restoring the soul after volunteering for months. Restaurant, food, prices, grounds...all great! Recommend. Spa treatments very interesting. My Ukrainian friend loved them and the prices were reasonable. For me one experience was enough for a lifetime, ;-) Enjoyed sitting in the bench swings, lounge chairs near the pool. Don't forget your swim suit. Enjoying playing billiards and ping pong. Room was a great size with mini frig and electric water pot and glasses. Asked the dining kitchen to provide coffee cups, plates and utensils. At first they said no, but then provided. Nice windows that opened for fresh air.

No-one spoke English. Of course, I realise I was a foreigner but, I'd imagine they will have people visiting a tourist centre who speak English? Also....it was VERY difficult to find and at night. We used google maps but they didn't seem to connect with directions given. So it was quite stressful, trying to find the place in the dark, but once settled, it was a beautiful place. Also, we were four and obviously wanted to stay close together. We had arranged separate rooms but when I booked, they didn't have four. So I needed to book one a little more expensive. This wasn't a big problem until..... when we arrived, we were separated into two different locations. Obviously we didn't want this and so the only way forward was to pay extra for a couple of rooms. This was strange because the place wasn't exactly full, being out of season....

Breakfast tasty and the young waiter was EXCELLENT. Although he didn't speak much English, he had his note book and was VERY helpful. The surroundings at the centre are beautiful and the rooms are very good.

Poolside may be crowdy on weekends

Big territory, delicious breakfasts and rich local kitchen for reasonable price. We lived in a house, enough space for 4 people, clean, all facilities, mineral potable water just from the faucet in the bathroom. Great experience of "chan" (hot bathtube). They also have a 5 km long mountain hike through wildwood (equipped with the signs and breathtaking views as a reward), tiny village to walk around, nice small river just at the territory, 2 swimming pools, and a mini zoo with deers, sheep, rabbits, ponies and a donkey, all can be fed by guests. There is also a rich kids program and animation. Cheap laundry service

It looks like an old soviet sanatorium. The food in the restaurant was very mediocre. They are putting lactose almost to everything, even if it’s not on the menu. For a person with lactose or gluten intolerance it will be very difficult.They don’t have alternative milk. The room was a bit dusty. I didn’t like that on the website it doesn’t say that the kids animation works only for children older that 3 years old.

The service in their restaurant wasted all leisure. Waiters didn't know what they have in menu, they are not attentive and too slow. We needed to wait for tea 40 min, after that I took tea by myself at the bar. Highly not recommend to eat in their restaurant. They wrote on their site that it is resort of solitude, so we went to restaurant without phones... and we couldn't see the menu because it's only in qr codes to scan by phone.
