The decor was amazing! You really felt transported somewhere else as soon as you stepped inside. My room was comfortable and there were plenty of amenities to make your stay comfortable.

There wasn’t anything to not like!

“Nostalgic” is right! It was like going back in time, but with modern amenities! Comfortable beds, great air conditioning, great shower, etc. and it smells so nice when you walk in! ALL the charm of an early 20th-century boarding house. You feel like you’re living in a museum in a good way. I loved hearing the train go by, thought it was quite appropriate. It was also like staying with a friend, not a stranger - Dori makes you feel instantly at home!

There is no breakfast since a cafe a couple blocks away is so convenient. The rate is lower because of that. This little house is absolutely wonderful inside. It is oozing with character. I enjoy sitting in the parlor while reading or writing. There is nothing ordinary about this place.

The care and love put into this place is amazing. All the antique furniture, the woodwork, the lush plants. It is wonderful that they share it with the public. The home absolutely explodes with character.

This is not a bed and breakfast. We brought our own snacks, supper and breakfast items which is how we wanted it. I chose this house as a place to visit with my sister, a halfway point between Colorado and South Dakato. It was very nice. Beautiful Fall weather

Dori was an exceptional host, I plan on staying here every time I pass through! They took my money but never let me in!! Booked June 27 through booking.com and arrived to a dark house and a locked door. Did not answer buzzer or phone. Refuse refund!! They are a scam!! Just answered phone and pretended they could not hear me, hung up and are now not answering.

Everything

We booked the same evening as our stay. The lights were on, the dogs were barking, there was a car in the driveway, but no one answered the door. We called twice; no one has called back. I contacted customer and they have attempted to contact the owner without a response. The requested refund has not been issued by booking.com, but I did get a nice phone number to talk about my feelings... and they sent me a request to the review the property.
