How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Mattresses in the spare bedroom were not very comfortable and could use some upgrading

Not much. The only thing people may not like is the windows with the shades open, provide no privacy. Also, the washer wasn't working but things happen. Other than that, its a decent place to stay.
Nice condo for the cost. Has everything you need and is very spacious. There is access to WiFi and cable TV. The two bedrooms are on opposite ends of the condo so you'll get privacy away from others. The unit has been updated to most standards in the area and its location is ideal, minutes from the beach. I recommend.

The kettle leaked. The tin opener didn't cut. The tv was not connected or working. We could not contact agent as uk visitors and no us phone number. The shower area needs updating.

At the pool we were asked twice for our passes. We noticed noone else was asked. There was also only 2 washcloths for 4 adults, so they def need to address that.

Door Lock number is too ease. Could be better to have a different lock box number combination so the guests would feel more secure inside of the unit.

The shower door wouldn’t shut and before the handyman had a chance to repair it , it fell off the hinges. The dishwasher couldn’t be opened without opening the oven door first.
Good size , good facilities if we had time to use them. It had a washer and dryer.

There was a big problem. That is the only issue.
Very convenient to grocery stores and restaurants. Short drive to beautiful beaches. The property was perfect for what we needed. Pool and jacuzzi were great.

Main Bedroom The flooring was damaged and there was some type of brown sticky stuff on the floor. The toilet made a weird noise after flushing. The shower door may need to be replaced, it doesn't close properly and may leak on the floor. The air vent at the entrance of the shower needs to be replaced...it looked dirty, black. The kitchen- saw a few roaches on the counter. Pool attendant was a little indifferent to our teenagers at the pool. Reached out to the property manager/owner on arrival about the floors but I never received a response and to date still have not received a response. Uploaded some pics but unable to upload video 😔
Overall it was a good stay and accommodations!! However, there were some kinks. The apartment has been renovated (but it is an older property). The beds were comfortable. Stackable washer and dryer. Access to the property was great! Great parking. Location was awesome!! Pool access and great amenities.

Cable box in main bedroom did not work. Too few towels for bathrooms. No bedside table or lamp in 2nd bedroom. Bathrooms were old and tired looking.

The sliding glass door in the TV room would not lock that was a little scary. I pushed the TV stand in front of the door hoping nobody would come in because I was on the bottom floor.

On thanksgiving day they asked for money. Not everyone celebrate thanksgiving day and not reason to increase the rate just because of that.
