Going there the first time is a little off because it's not set up like a hotel. There's no one to show you where things are. The first time I went there, it took a while to find the right room. A map of the rooms near the door, and some lighting that comes on with a motion detector as you walk through would fix that. After you've been there once, no problem.

Very good deal for the money. Clean, good bathrooms. Great location

The bed, though quite comfortable overall, sunk in the middle.

The room was clean and the host was very kind. It was no frills but we really didnt need anything fancy, just a bed and somewhere to keep our things, we were in town for a wedding and were out and about most of our stay. It was nice that there was a small TV with Roku and fun art all over the place. We didnt use it but there was a shared kitchen that had all amenities you could need if you wanted to cook. It didn't really feel like a hostel - it felt like I was staying in a friend's home.

Was a bit leery when we walked into an art gallery, but Dave was great and his cats were an unexpected plus. Would definitely stay there again. You do need to know that it is a hostel, not a hotel.

For a hostel it is great and our hosts Dave, Samantha, and Luke are always welcoming. A quiet old town in NH and for the reasons we go there (hiking) it meets all our expectations.

The rate and overall feel. I come to this area of NH every few months, and usually get a motel room of lesser quality and a higher price. I'll certainly book here again! Ps... The cats, Samantha and Luke are super friendly. Dave was just as friendly!

Super affordable, comfy beds, convenient self check in. We arrived late and left early so no face to face interaction with any staff but Dave was very communicative via text/ app messages.

I love the amount of space and privacy that’s offered, which is rare for a hostel. I LOVE that there are two lovely friendly fluffy furry friends that visit with us while we stay (we’re cat people!). As hikers, this is the perfect location for us to hit the 4000 footers as well as the 52WAV. David is personable, attentive, but not intrusive and we look forward to our 5th stay!

I didn't like the reservation process through booking.com. Clunky and weird. I'd rather talk to the property owner and book directly with them. I also would rather not download apps and open accounts for one transaction. Basically, if not for booking.com, the whole experience would be A+.
