Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomThe ground floor bar and restaurant areas were very very busy at nights - uncomfortably so as a hotel resident making it less inviting space to spend any time in.
Modern hotel in great downtown location. Lovey choice of bars and restaurants onsite. My wife used the Verbena Spa and exclaimed it was one of the bet treatments she had ever had. Lovely touch receiving a bottle of prosecco delivered to the room on arrival. The Quill Room was a lovely bar - good for some lite bites and drinks. Roof top pool and swim up bar was a nice sun trap - staff were very attentive and made sure we were well looked after.

United KingdomThis hotel is everting you would expect and more from the Design Hotel Group. It's ineriors are exquisitely decorated with every attention given to detail. To compliment the interiors were the exceptional service of the staff. They where attentive, friendly and always helpful. Even our kids agreed that this was the best hotel they have ever been to. The facilities where excellent and we may just have had the best Margaritas we've ever tasted at the pool bar! In the evenings the lobby lounge turned into a vibrant hang out for guest and locals, which we loved. Even though we did not join in every night, it was wonderful to come back after a day of shopping or sightseeing to experience a lively atmosphere that was welcoming. Will we go back? Most definitely! It is after all, a proper hotel.

United KingdomThe only thing I could say was that on the night we arrived, the reception team forgot to tell us that we needed to 'swipe' the card to get the elevator to work...we pressed loads of buttons before we figured it out! Everything else was just wonderful.
The hotel room was infinitely comfortable - the bathroom super clean and everything I needed was in the room, including a steamer for clothes! (we were travelling from London to Austin via NY for a wedding, so you can imagine the state of my outfit for the wedding, having been in a suitcase for days in NYC!). I would highly recommend Austin Proper Hotel Austin to anyone who is looking for a great place to stay in the city centre!
