Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThe airstream was very cold when we arrived. It was set below 70 and its possible I had a cold/hot reaction causing hives and having us go home.
Location perfect, airstream were clean and the area beautiful. The bathroom and kitchen were spacious and we enjoyed hanging out. We didn't bring BBQ items, but it looked wonderful BBQ in their BBQ area. Check in was easy and check out fast. We couldn't stay the night due to a medical emergency and they were great about it. It is private.

United StatesA bit long walk to Airstream. They have wagons to help carry luggage although. Pool is on the small side. TV wasn’t working in Airstream. It was super hot outside so it was difficult to get temp inside right. Food was mostly grab and go, not much cooked food available, although Joshua Tree (the town) is right there so there is options.
Neat and novel. Pretty fun experience overall!

AustraliaAir-con was loud but nothing else bad to say.
By far the most favourite stay of my trip. Super cute renovated RV's - modern and clean feel. Comfortable beds and quite spacious overall. Products provided (body wash/shampoo/conditioner etc.) felt high quality and smelt so good. Had all amenities needed for a comfortable stay - fridge, microwave, kettle, cooking supplies etc. Super friendly staff, lots of in-house activities like yoga etc. Pool was nice. Cute campfire at night time. Close to Joshua Tree NP.

United StatesThe snacks, meal kits, and fire-pit logs in the lobby are overpriced; shop elsewhere.
Staying in an Airstream is fun, and the ones here have been styled with finesse, from the rain shower to the bed with memory-foam mattress and fine linens.

United StatesI wouldn’t go there in the winter or summer. Air conditioning is super loud, much louder than old airplane. We literally couldn’t sleep. And without it in two hours room inside was barely 50 Fahrenheit. I was happy that we booked only one night. Also, our room was not ready till 5.50pm which was quite disappointing even though staff at front desk did their best to fix the impression (they allowed us take whatever we want from mini store for free).
It is unique glamping in the area. Location is very picturesque, comfy bed inside and all kitchen facilities provided

United StatesMajor miiscommunication with Booking.com. We asked to change our reservation because there is a choice between staying in an Airstream trailer and a cabin. I didn't realize initially that we were booked in a cabin until I got the confirmation of the reservation, so I called Booking.com and told the agent we would rather change the dates of our stay if necessary in order to reserve 2 Airstream trailers instead of 2 cabins. I explained this several times to the agent. She called the property and asked to change the date of the reservation but didn't change the accommodation. We were very disappointed because staying in an Airstream was the whole point of the reservation and I wouldn't have changed it just to end up in the same cabin accommodations. Maybe your agents are not sufficiently fluent in English, and that is a problem.

United StatesThe location is on the side of a highway. Not at all scenic or remote. The website pics are shot from an angle that leads you to believe this is a more remote site. Our view was a rundown block of houses and we could heard highway noise.
Fun stay. We enjoyed the pool and cooking dinner on an open fire.

United KingdomWhere do i start..... The staff here were the worst i have EVER seen. Our stay in-fact the entire trip was ruined by the incompetent staff that Autocamp have employed. The woman on reception called SAM was an absolute nightmare and i cant express my disappointment enough. Upon arrival we had to wait over an hour to get checked in. After we explained that we would like to pay the full price on a seperate card they charged the wrong card not once but three times. I explained that they have taken the payment three times from the wrong card and they took the charge again TWICE. This meant that we had to wait for over a week to be refunded over $1000. Because the staff were so incpompotnet they did not know how to charge a different card they persisted to keep on charging the wrong card. They then called their IT/HR department which took another hour .... in the meantime we are waiting to check in desperately and they would not let us check in untill we had paid, even though they wrongly charged our credit cards thousands of dollars. Upon check of what was a good stay and after coming to terms with the disappointing service we said farewell to the hotel staff and SAM again completely ignored not once but twice, i could believe the attitude of the staff here they are the worst ever and should reconsider their careers. Until today which is two weeks later, we have not received our refund and have contacted them countless times and not heard a thing. Please avoid this place if you dont want your money to be stolen, awful experience. Google review coming soon...
Very unique experience and our favourite overall after staying in various hotels. The facilities were all new, modern and up to date .The hotel and camper was well equpped and the shower was HUGE suprisingly. They even had a country singer performing until the evening which was a great touch whilst unwinding at the campfire. The pool was open very late which was a bonus. Location was within a few minutes to the entrance of joshua tree national park by car.

United KingdomAlthough the airstream is described as having a kitchenette , it’s basically a tiny fridge, microwave and sink . We were anticipating being able to do some basic cooking, but it wasn’t possible. No laundry facilities on site, and the tv didn’t work. It sounds like a list of complaints - we did enjoy our stay but expected a little more. Finally it’s a late check in at 4 , and an early check out at 10.
The airstream was really comfortable, and very stylish. The setting is peaceful , with great views of the desert. Pool area and clubhouse is relaxing, and it was nice to have pools towels provided. We did feel relaxed and the staff were lovely.
