We found the high table and stools to be difficult, and think that some potential guests would not be able to use them. A normal height table and chairs would be better. Also, the arrangement of bedroom and pull out sofa bed would work better for a couple or a family. For two friends who aren't a couple the two floor arrangement wasn't ideal.

Breakfast was not provided, but the host brought us a bag of coffee and chocolate macadamias. Location was convenient to see Maui.

The only thing I have to mention is that for us the nearest beach was not that good, and we preferred to go other beaches (in Wailea or Kapalua) by car. So if we didn't rent a car and planned to go to the nearest beach, I'd be disappointed by it, though it's very close and once we enjoyed meeting turtles there in the evening

Everything about the apartment was great, we had everything we need there and even more (were pleasantly surprised to have the beach chairs, umbrella, cooler there, it was a nice bonus). We also enjoyed spending time in the yard near the pool

Only issue I had was that The outer combination lock was finicky and difficult to unlock at times…

Location was wonderful, plus plenty of space inside with an excellent stocked kitchen that has a full sized refrigerator. AC was perfect and so was the lovely view from the upstairs balcony. Nice private parking right in front of the entrance to the suite

Nothing to complain about! Though I will note: some light switches don't work, and there's no central lighting upstairs (only bed-side lamps).

We had a very comfortable and fun stay here. It's very centrally located-- quick to get to Kihei commercial center, or even to any other part of central Maui. It's right across the street from a beautiful beach. There's outdoor seating and lounging by the pool which was a great spot for eating homemade breakfast. And we were pleasantly surprised by the yummy treats that the host left for us upon arrival.

There were quite a few ants in the kitchen and bathroom but completely understand as it is an island after all.

The property was clean and relaxing inside and out. The pool was great and the location was close to town and right across from the beach. Parking was easy and felt completely safe the entire time. Also communication with Toni was excellent!

My biggest complaint is the door lock. I never had such a hassle with the door lock. Need to be fixed ASAP. There’s no sufficient lighting in front of the house, especially the unit’s front light wasn’t working. I had to reach out to neighbor for help to find out whether I am at the right place or not. I couldn’t find the house number from the street. It’s dark in the parking lot as well. Some lighting is needed. Found a cockroach.

The door key was a little difficult to lock/unlock. A couple of window screens were partly torn. The water heater was small and couldn’t fill the bathtub with enough hot water.

I liked the location and the hospitality of the host, Toni. The kitchen is very well equipped, so I could cook my meals like I do at home. Very good taste of furniture and other interior. Comfortable living room area facing the pool. BBQ grill is very clean and easy to use. I liked the policy of the host to keep the facility affordable for all the guests, too.

Finding the building was a challenge in the dark - instructions were not very clear and building number is not clearly marked. The building is located on a small side street with a number of other vacation properties, making it hard to identify. (Also, there was a discrepancy between booking.com statement and amount charged to my credit card which I could not resolve with the host and will need to address with booking.com)

The attention to detail in the cleaning department was definitely lacking. Things looked like they had a quick wipe down but several things were missed. The carpet is in desperate need of replacement (stains all over and was hesitant to put my clothes on it). We found two cockroaches during our stay.

Perfect location, the beach across the street was beautiful! Also really nice to have parking included. Bed was very comfortable. The host was great and very responsive.
