How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The carpets in the halls and elevators could use a good cleaning otherwise no complaints.
The breakfast was great, the hotel overall was clean, friendly staff. The grand staircase was beautiful and the holiday decorations were lovely. It was nice to see families hanging out in the lobby playing board games. We were pleased with our choice.

I tried to check in at around 5, room wasn't ready until around 6. Check in was supposed to be at 4, this was Saturday. Sunday we were out until 3:30, maid finally came at around 4:30, my 95 yr old mother was taking a nap. so no maid service. Monday, front desk said, no maid service on Mondays. Tuesday, got in at 3:30 room still a mess. Went down to front desk, 2 staff members there, I told them I had a complaint, they both ignored me, taking to a maintenance guy. They did, send the maid to clean our room. Bad service but one girl did apologize. Pillows hard as rocks, girl at desk said that was all they had, maid did find 2 softer ones.
The breakfast was very good, staff in breakfast area very good.

The breakfast could be more of a variety. Real coffee w/liquid cream would be great.
The suites were great for us grandparents, my son his wife and three young children. The beds were comfy. The room w/door and separate bedroom was perfect for multi-generational families.

Only concern need to fix lighting in the parking lot. To many lights out front back of building. Also parking lot in back needs repairs.

The lady at check in was a bit rude. I did not like the fact we came to Branson for a scheduled show at 330pm we arrived at 11 I had messaged for early check in I mean people like to check in and take shower and get ready after show we went to dinner with family so having to check in after 4 and then hurry up and check out at 11am is upsurd we do not even have time to enjoy the property. I am speaking for my whole church group who also stayed at same place some were older and not having a room to freshen up before events is stressful. When I arrived there were literally 4 cars in parking lot I doubt the hotel was packed out at noon. But the lady at front desk did not even check to see if there were rooms ready. I also did not like that there were no reading chair or recliner to relax there was a huge empty space where accessory furniture could have been. Breakfast dining hall was so crowded you could not find a place to sit ..

I would say tidy up a little more on cleanliness my bathtub was dirty when I got there and there was no plug in for my little boys to take a bath so I tried to shove a wash cloth in which was not easy to do and Kleenex was already opened in that room but other than that loved the hotel and staff
The ladies making breakfast worked really hard making sure there was enough food and it was hott I have no complaints on anything to do with them sweet ladies because they were beyond amazing.

Bathroom counterspace insufficient. Not enough seating. One chair is not sufficient for two or more people. Very poor lighting in the room. Bathroom toiletries pretty skimpy. Hand soap was lousy. I also saw two roaches in the room one evening.
Location, breakfast and comfortable accommodations were very good.

Room was ok, bathroom very out dated. Vents were not in good condition. No lights by mirror like other places .

It was a nice room nice location
When we checked in the rooms were not ready at 4 o’clock when they were promised. We stayed for two days. They did not clean our room after the first day. That’s why we did not give it a excellent rating.
