It was such a nice place. So quiet and relaxing. Was hoping to end up in that area at night on the way home to stay again. Breakfast was delicious. Loved it!

Room very outdated and nasty

Bar was very nice and updated my room however was extremely run down and nasty could hear kids screaming in the pool first thing in the morning

The plants & decor around the pool area had gross dead plants, trash & nasty plastic flowers.

The room I got this time was horrible, the blinds on the door wouldn’t close, literally had to tape them shut, so I could have privacy, there was only half full shampoos, the tv didn’t work, the bed was all springs, it was so bad I just left and went elsewhere, I was really disappointed for 94$

The rooms were in a warehouse looking place. Continental breakfast sucked! Strange smell lingered in the room . Maybe cleaning supply? It stunk all night! We were there because we have a dog. Limited area to take him out. No grass to speak of!

"A bit of music from the restaurant" turned out to be music all around. And after 11 pm someone playing with the volume button. Bathroom could do with a fix up. Rooms are noisy, you could litterally hear what next door was talking about.

Awful layout and no help with luggage despite lift being out of service. Rooms smelled. Mattress inadequate. Layout (rooms arranged around courtyard space) outdated and noisy. Swimming pool murky.

Let me start with there was no hot water, our TV did not work, the door handle fell off. The out side stairs were broken could not use them. Burgers all over the bathroom wall very dirty did not clean our room the whole time we were there. Elevator did not work then charge just for our breakfast and the breakfast was very disgusting we'll never go back to that place again.

It says free breakfast. The Continental Breakfast is free. The hot breakfast, eggs, potatoes, sausage, bacon, biscuits.... You pay for it. That should be mentioned.

The room ceiling did need some work and the toilet felt very small and low to the ground. Having a lamp in between the beds instead of the super bright lights would be nice.

I liked that it actually had other activities to do besides just swimming.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean. Overall, the atmosphere was great.

Poorly maintained and not the cleanest. There were some dangerous steps with iron poles sticking out of the concrete that we thought was quite hazardous. Also, the elevator closest to our room wasn’t working so we had to walk a long way to go to and from the car. Some of the staff were dismissive. It was fine for a night but it’s not a well maintained place.

I pretty much enjoyed everything at the Cactus Inn

we really enjoyed the location and the rooms were really nice and clean. The facility has washer and dryer which was a bonus for us.

This is a “newly redone” property. It’s been converted from exterior entry to interior. But they spent the money in all the wrong places. Felt like a place where they had frequently found bodies and painted over the blood. Definitely slept with our clothes on. The only reason we stayed is because we got into town around 3am and the half dozen other hotels we called, we’re all booked up. The pictures are 100% misleading. Also, the indoor pool made it feel like a mold dome.

There was a white powder substance left on top of the mini-fridge when we checked into the room from previous occupants. I did not taste it to see what it was... Black mold in tub. Dirt collected in the corners of run-down rooms. Empty soda bottle left on floor from previous occupants. The restaurant/bar next door had the doors open and live band blaring through the halls late at night. The pool area smells like mildew and diarreah. Next door neighbors dog didn't stop barking all night. It's a nice thought, but wouldn't ever stay again. Left completely grossed out and exhausted.

Decor is nice for the most part. The kids enjoyed the swings, turf, mini golf.

The room carried the strong scent of cigarette smoke, which was concerning as we were accompanied by an infant and a young child. Despite our request for an additional mattress to accommodate our baby, it was unfortunately declined

Room has moldy, musty smell because you can visibly see mold on the ceiling. Pool steps and deck were slippery. Rooms were not as advertised. One elevator not working leaving only one. Tv did not work and internet was lagging

Property has a lot of potential but just isn’t there yet. The rooms look nothing like how they are advertised. Nice amenities like pool and mini golf and I liked everything was inside and very open. But pool need renovating

The property is undergoing renovations that appear to have stagnated. The room was dingy and dank, fairly clean but very grimy. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable, fridge not working, bed lamps had shorts in them and the door was flimsy.
