Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesLiked everything. However, construction work was ongoing due to expansion. Unfortunately, on leaving we damaged the underside of our vehicle in a large pothole caused by the construction. Subsequently cost us $1000 in repairs when we got home.
The Dome itself was well equipped, very comfortable and warm, but with a very small kitchen if you want to grill and prepare a meal. Plastic silverware and paper/plastic plates. A nice touch would have been proper silverware and heavy duty plastic plates. Our friends had the adjoining dome with spectacular veiws and table and chairs in front of the dome. Our dome faced towards the mountains with limited views due to high brush. We were unable to clearly see sunrise/sunset. The outside seating and grill were at the side of the dome. We used the exterior of our friends dome so this wasn't a problem for us, but we would have been disappointed had we been on our own. On a side note, Monticello is very small with limited eateries and stores.

CanadaThe drive in was a little narrow in spots because they are trenching to lay water pipes.
The ability to see the night sky from inside the dome was amazing. We left the drapes open all night and had a beautiful sunrise as well. The fridge and bbq came in handy to make our dinner.

United StatesThe best sky I've ever seen!!! Great place to relax, unwind and stargaze. Firepit was a bonus. The only thing I would recommend is having a small table outside Dome 9.

United StatesI wish a hairdryer would have been provided. I would have loved to keep the drapes open during the daylight but the sun was so strong, it heated up the dome. The view was beautiful from the dome but we couldn't appreciate it during the day, The price was comparable to a hotel room but pretty expensive compared to VRBO or AirBnb.
It was so much better than the typical area hotels. Accommodations were large, comfortable and private and felt like a home rather than a hotel room. Loved being in nature.

SwitzerlandWe, a family with two teenagers, really enjoyed our stay in Dome number 7! Everything was beautifully decorated and kept clean. We liked the decor of the beautiful dome and the stylish bathroom very much. In the evening we prepared a delicious steak on the gas grill and enjoyed the peace and quiet and the great view under the starry sky by the fireplace. We are happy to rate this exceptional accommodation from Mark and Sharon with 5 stars, or rather with a whole Milky Way… Thank you so much!

United StatesCups, plates, and cutlery were made from disposable plastic/paper which I find environmentally irresponsible. Changing to reusable kitchen equipment would also add to a more homey atmosphere.
Clean, comfortable glamping dome (#7) with a beautiful view - whether you are in- or outside. We enjoyed our 2 days tremendously and would come back!!

Really unique, remote, and peaceful. What a spectacular view of the mountains and sunset! The dome was very clean, with comfortable beds and everything we needed. Great shower and nice towels. The kitchenette had plates, cups, silverware and bbq grill utensils. The fire pit was great, as were inside chairs to take in the view.

United StatesThe upstairs loft has a steep ladder up it, and there are 2 twin beds up there. It would be nice to have a light up there, but there are plenty of outlets up there for charging devices.
This was such a unique experience! It is located out of town and is pretty secluded. Excellent check-in instructions from the hosts! The views are unbelievable--stars at night and beautiful mountain views and sunrise! We arrived too late for sunset! The kitchette has a keureg and coffee, hot chocolate, and maybe tea pods. There is a microwave and refrigerator. Propane fireplace and gas BBQ grill outside. The view is so worth it.

United StatesThe dome was a super fun experience during our Canyonlands NP trip. The location is perfect for visiting The Needles. We really enjoy the quietness and the view. The Dome #6 has everything we (four adults) needed for a private, cozy and comfortable stay. The smart lock, en-suite bathroom, fire pit, gas grill, comfy mattress, cozy decor make a A++ glamping. The dome in beautiful surroundings, amazing sunrise view and wildlife makes the experience truly special. Check-in n check-out couldn’t be easier. What a brilliant idea staying at the Dome compared to crowded, boring/pricy hotels in Moab.

United KingdomA bit more privacy in the bathroom would be nice, there's only a curtain instead of a door. Not a complaint at all just a suggestion, otherwise everything was perfect.
Amazing place, beautiful quiet location with stunning views, the dome is very luxurious. Nice to have the outdoor BBQ area too. Comfiest bed ever.
