We actually did not end up staying. The premises were pretty nice. Our room was so outdated and smelled of smoke. Bathroom was outdated and because it looked so old it also looked dirty. We were in the room for 5 minutes before i was already searching other hotels nearby to stay at.

1-Many of the advertised activities were not available; birds were not, the cruise ship was not, camp fire for a big charge, and the beach wasn’t clean at all, the beach chairs would be collected at 3:30 for no good reason 2-No breakfast available 3-Parking is expensive 4-No ramp from parking garage to slide luggage; to take luggage on steps 5-Booked 2 rooms for my family and were not next to each other which was inconvenient 6-Water pressure in bathroom was low

The rooms are in dire need of renovation. The smell of mold and mildew are rampant. The quality of the room does NOT match the rate at all.

The facility is very old and long overdue for a remodel. Bathrooms are small with no storage for toiletries. Had to put most of our things on the floor. Drains emptied very slowly. The carpet is very old, worn, and dirty. Wall A/C unit is right next to bed and blasts the person trying to sleep there. One of our units had a kitchen and it looked like a picture out of a 1960's magazine.

Location is very good. Right on the beach and there is an ample number of restaraunts within easy walking distance. Sea World is close, and the trail around the bay is awesome.

the first room we were given smelled very moldy and the carpet was very stained/dirty. we thought it was because it was next to the pool. the porch was concrete was falling apart and appeared to be separating from the wall. we could see a piece of duct tape stuck in there.

it has a very tropical/Hawaiian feel to it.

The room in the tower on the 12th floor was horrible. super small, Cracked tile all over the tub. No bathroom vent fan, peeling wallpaper, no curtain pole draw. Smelled. For the price, it was totally overpriced. Serious update to decor/design is needed.

They should have advised that there was work being fine in the hotel, it was very noisy. Also my room was over the air conditioner and the tv was blasting when it went off so I could hear it when the AC was on.

Rooms were terrible, we ask for a change and gave us somethinga bit better. Rooms Doesn’t worth the money. Wifi terrible, tuw decoration of the rooms, bath and kitchenette to old. A lot of things didn’t work oure whole stay even that we ask for help. We complained and received grate attention but wasn’t enough.

The food is grate. The location is perfect. The plants and the gardens. Scott, the manager was very nice woth us.

There is nothing open before 7 am. You can't get coffee or even a newspaper. The room bathrooms are outdated, there is no place for your stuff. You get no housekeeping service...period. All for a super high price.

The location is great. The hotel grounds are great. Having the rental boats close was great.

The gym has 2 working machines out of 6! The elevators in the Tower building are dead traps, sluggish and old. The carpet in the room is absolutely disgusting, the linoleum scratched, the microwave makes loud clunking noises, the fridge is on its last leg. The AC is placed 10in from one of the beds and blowing on your face all night!

The only good thing about Catamaran resort is it's location. Everything else, rooms, gym, elevators, spa is dated, broken and bare minimum. It's absolutely not worth $449 per night. We should have gone to Hawaii.

Had to wait a long time to check in. Asked hotel clerk if she could help with a promo code adjustment and was told I would have to call another party. The room was very disappointing as it looked like it hasn't been updated since the 80s. Old furniture and dirty popcorn ceilings and wallpaper. Also had a leaky air conditioner unit that created a large wet spot on the carpets. Bathroom also was very old and needed updating. We paid a summer premium price of $449 plus $129 of added fees for one night. For that price we should of been in a well appointed updated modern room.

The location on the bay is great and the hotel grounds were very well maintained with tropical plants and koi ponds throughout the property .

The hotel places to an amazing location surrounding by one side bay and the other side ocean . There is a lot to do inside hotel and around. Pool are was clean and enjoyable and jacuzzy was nice too.

You had to call house keeping to bring up extra cups and coffee. They don’t supply that with the daily linen. We had a dirty pillow case on one of our pillows. Another occupant was smoking a cigar outside our balcony.
