I did NOT like the fact that the cleaning crew came onto the porch at 9am (2 hours before checkout) to look in the window to see if we were still there. My family and I felt violated, especially for the fact the my 11yo daughter was changing at this time!! I told the lady at the front desk and I was told I would be compensated for the inconvenience.. I have not heard anything since and my daughter is still freaked out by this!!!!

I loved how cozy it was and very clean.

The bed was slanted to the side. The tub drain was plugged and very slow to drain. The pool that was supposed to be open until 11pm was closed at 8pm

Tons of cob webs and spiders inside the unit. I know that’s part of “camping” and cabin life but the lofted ceilings were full of webs with visible bugs.

Good location with plenty of parking close to our unit. The shuttle was generally easy to catch. Our upper A/C didn’t work and maintenance promptly came by to replace it at 9:00pm Sunday night which was impressive!

There really wasn't anything we would have changed

I loved the location, right on the water, even though it is right next to other ones it was so quiet you might think you were the only one on the block, the whole cabin was perfect. After 4 nights of camping it was wonderful to be in a/c and have a shower and entry to the park was perfect for us and our 3 kids

Cute cabin, very clean with enough room for 5 us of to sleep. Great porch with chairs to enjoy the lake and outdoors.

Loft bannister needed repair, water standing around toilet. Water also located bottom of the bed, no apparent leaks from the ceiling.

Cabins were outdated and not very clean. Deck is poorly maintained. Torn curtains. Inadequate hot water system.

Location and view of lake. Easy access. Nice pool. Friendly staff. Feels like a safe area. Parking was very convenient.

They could update the inside of those cottage and keep them clean.

The patio furniture was really dirty and when we went inside the pull out couch had a spider crawling on it. The furniture inside was beat up and beds were very uncomfortable. The overall place wasn't very clean. I will say this the view of the lake was extraordinary, standing outside on the patio was very calm listening to the waves crash. The location of the lighthouse is perfect, the cottage I stayed in was not. Lastly, I love the fact cedar point is apart of the experience, you can see Rollercoaster from your cottage.

Patio very close to neighbors. Not very private. There should be a sign on courtesy van site telling you to “call” for pickup. No place for wheelchair.

Better maps at cedar point and more staffing.

The atmosphere was so natural and peaceful, much needed after a day in the park. The store was stocked well and friendly staff. Loved the cottage. Children we're so excited and had a blast with their size refrigerator! Would love return with bigger family events.

If a property is going to offer a shuttle service, then it should make sure that service is consistent and obtainable. We waited over 45 minutes for a shuttle to pick us up at closing to take us back to our cabin. We called 4 times and was told “they are aware you are waiting”. Eventually, we had to walk to 1.5 miles back to the cabin with a small child. This was not the only bad experience with the shuttle service but the worst. Also, there is barely any hot water when showering. You are lucky to get one decent shower in with warm water.

The view was nice.

Bugs! Lots of them. Had my son and daughter in first aid at Cedar Point after check in because they had bug bites (we had the nurse confirm) all over them.
