The entrance, the lawn is not cut to make the place look decent. The place was a bit different compared to the pictures displayed on the website. The walls are not as white as the pictures with spider webs on corners (this could have been removed), the sofa is old and a bit broken, was not able to use the TV,

The place was decent and the host was really welcoming and provided advice on things to do in and around Washington DC. The place had a small bar fridge, microwave, TV hardly use, wifi with good connection, aircon.

Shower could have been warmer and they need some lights on the stairs I fell on my back because it was so dark going down the steps.

Not a place to spend the night. They did not give me a key. I did not feel comfortable sleeping in the sheets and only stayed 1 night of two. I recommend this location be removed from your list.

The description didn't list the 2 flights of stairs, which was not something my 88yr old grandmother could handle. The ammendities were lacking, we didn't know what was expected of us to supply or what they should supply. After witnessing my grandmother fall still refused a partial refund so we could more easily find a more suitable accommodations.

It was a really bad experience. It's not a studio, it's a shared house and they give you a room. His family lives downstairs and he sees them all the time. The house smelled very bad and was messy. We entered through the door and did not stay in this house, but the owner did not refund and we had to book another hotel. Stay away

Well. The block seems unsafe and rundown. I was followed by two gentleman from the time I got out of Uber until I got up the steps to the units location. Whe the two gentleman walked to the porch of the house right next door and just stood there and stared at me. The lock box for the key didn't work. I fiddled with that for about 20 mins before a woman came to answer the door who didn't speak a y English. The space is clean. I guess. It's located upstairs in the house a family lives in. Which smelled like a restaurant and there was loud screaming and banging. Not sure what that was. In all. This was advertised as a studio apt thisbis in fact a bedroom in a family's house with old furniture old linena, loud noises on a somewhat sketchy block in a transitional neiighborhood of northwest Washington. It may work for some. But the picture and the description do not represent what the unit really is. Plus I was billed for this. And still waiting to hear back about a refund...I'm sure you hat will not happen.

Place not well kept, very dirty, cups and cutlery not cleaned. There was no hot water in the shower. The shower curtain was old and stained Hygiene standards are very poor, to say the least.

1.Smell so bad when we entered the house 2.Really inconvenient owner’s mom can’t speak English 3.We r not leaving yet owner’s mom just knocked the door and ready to enter our room 4. The pics are totally different with the house (Can’t open the door of balcony, no small table Everything are old not like pics, I feel cheated!!!!!! The appearance is very shabby, there is a very strange smell when entering the door, and I also saw the portrait of the deceased. I feel very bad. The stairs are also very shabby. You will make a sound when you step on them. There are cracks in the walls of the room, the pillows are moldy.There was thick dust, the bathroom was extremely narrow and the door also broken. Btw box paper was not provided only toilet paper. The owner’s mother did not speak English. The overall accommodation experience was very poor.

One thing to know: the room is a one-flight walk-up, and there are some older (and slightly uneven) steps to enter the building.

The bed was very comfortable! Great location- close (15 minute or less walk) to some good restaurants and to the green line metro.

In the picture they have balcony door wide open but when we get there there's a note that said DON'T OPEN THE DOOR. The room was dusty (had spider webs and sticky stuff on the remote). Couldn't get the TV to work. Had to take my shoes off(which was odd but I understood). It was just a weird experience

it wasn’t in a super safe neighborhood but my boyfriend and I are used to that environment. The walls were very dirty and the pictures were definitely misleading. I felt weird about it being in a house with her parents, but I might’ve misunderstood the listing. I didn’t like that the door to our room did not lock from the outside.

The person we spoke with was very nice and answered quickly. We just needed a cheap place to sleep so it worked for us. the bed was very comfy

It’s a family house and you stay in one of the rooms upstairs. The room 1 it’s big and comfortable with everything that you need.

The owner is a liar and a rude person. I asked for the keys to the room, but the drill did not close, and he began to drive out and find something else!!! When I booked this accommodation, it was written in the description that it was a studio, but in fact it was a very small and dirty room without a lock, I had to carry a lot of things with me around the city!!!

I did not like anything for this price in this room!
