How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We had a wonderful stay for Christmas. The property is very clean, the staff was friendly and with really comfortable inside and outside sitting areas. The breakfast was marvelous. I was very impressed with the food. The surrounding area is great with small shops and 10 minute drive from Spanish restaurants. :)

The staff was not interested in service! The outside area in the back should be cleaner and more comfortable! It seems no one want to have a guest outside!

We got a 3rd floor room above large garbage containers. The hotel was by no means full! No paper seal as proof of cleanliness of the toilet

Had to switch rooms due to running toilet and room being dirty. Mattress cover did not fit bed, when pulled back to make bed there were long black hairs in between mattress and cover. Disgusting to say the least. Second room walked in room and immediately saw blood on bed on sheets inside and out. They wrote it off as the maid had cut herself while cleaning. Next room was very dusty, could write my name in it, and still disappointed. Was tired of complaining and moving so spent last night in dusty room looking at a roof!!
Breakfast and coffee very overpriced but were good. Staff was nice. Nice area with couches and fire pit outside but did not get a chance to use at night.

I was given a disabled room which the bathroom was up to me or my wife's standard. The water that runs out the shower ran directly on the floor and my son fell, I want my money refunded due to this accident that could've been avoided if the front desk person would've cared.
Spending time with my family however, I never ordered a disable room and should mot be given that room.

Lovely room, and very comfortable bed. Bathroom was a good size and clean, lovely big shower enclosure. Staff were lovely.

Everything was great at the Courtyard Marriott. The front desk staff (shout out to CJ the operations manager and the young woman working with him) we amazing, friendly and extremely helpful.

You had guests with small children who were attending the soccer tournament across the street. They were inconsiderate, extremely noisy, shouting in hallways and the room next door, and most definitely bouncing soccer balls indoors. This went on well past 10pm. YOUR HOTEL should NOT have put us on the same floor with them.

Like I had said the price is a little high on the weekends but during the week it’s definitely worth it I wish there was an outdoor pool for the summer but the indoor pool is nice and I have use that and even the other people that stay there having a good time and it’s really nice to sit outside and meet friendly people who are classy
This is one of my favorite places to stay it’s very clean the staff is fantastic and the outside is beautiful and very relaxing and I love the closet and the full length mirror and the bathroom and I think the location is perfect the price can get a little high on the weekends but they don’t charge any extra incidentals besides $20 which you can charge stuff to the room if you want to buy stuff from their store so it makes it easy otherwise you get it back right away
