Light above the sink did not work, and neither did the drain in the sink. Had to remove the plug completely for the water to drain.

The breakfast could have been better, but it was not horrible.

Super close to the beach and pier. We loved the charm of the place and how close it was to shopping, food and of course the beach! The staff was very nice and the breakfast was ok, not the best we have had traveling, but not the worst. We would stay again.

The large window had only dark curtains so we had to spend all day in the dark, or be totally exposed to passers by. Breakfast was limited

I really like this place have stayed several times. Off season vibes are relaxing. The pool is nice and warm. Close to the pier and volleyball nets on the beach! The fish camp restaurant a brief walk from the room is a must.

We were charged for parking one vehicle but yet we had to have a pass in our dash to stay. Where else were we to park? Most hotels allow 1 vehicle per room free. Yet we got a free continental breakfast. Charging for parking space seems ridiculous.

The breakfast selection is a bit unusual for travellers from Europe (reheated boiled omlette and full of sugar foods), but I think it is normal for Americans...

This place is very close to the beach, which is fantastic. The staff members were very kind and helpful. It was easy to check in and check out, thank you for everything.

It was good but it is still an old hotel....but upgraded nicely. The Breakfast room was packed and nowhere to sit.

I didn't like that there wasn't a single person discount for breakfast when it is included in room price for 2 people (I was adult and small infant who didn't eat breakfast). The floor in my room was a bit 'sticky/greasy/slippery' and I'm not sure if this was just my room or the floor cleaning product used but I personally wore flip flops most of the time inside as didn't like the feeling.

Property is great! It is cheap and cheerful but for the money I don't know what other people are expecting! It was clean, serviced well everyday and had extremely friendly and helpful staff. There was a $10pp Cruise-ship/port shuttle available to book at the front desk for 3 different time slots which worked great for me. We stayed 8 nights before a cruise holiday and thought location was amazing - <5mins to beach/pier and supermarket and ~30 mins to walk to big shopping complex. We had room with mini kitchen and were able to cook pasta and make sandwiches easily! FISH CAMP GRILL NEXT DOOR IS AMAZING - DON'T BOTHER WITH ALE HOUSE - food, atmosphere and service much better at Fish Camp Grill where I ended up eating 5/8 nights! Have several other cruise holidays booked and will be staying there again!
