Rip out the carpets, all the rest is fine, it's an older hotel that's fine. Make sure the shower sink toilet is in working order and te best it can be. The hotel is older but make sure everything is working. My shower with a simple check could have seen it just needed replaced instead of slopping out all over. Other then a little thing or two its good for a business traveler.

Location, always clean, good bedding, comfortable to sleep, all I need as a business traveler. The staff works hard and the rooms are always clean and good fresh bedding.

Horrible neighbor they moved me but the room wasn’t good the faucet in the tub ran all night long. Wouldn’t stay here again. The furnishings are all dated.

I did not like the way there were holes in the wall. Stains everywhere. The bathroom definitely needs a upgrade. Did not feel comfortable taking a shower. Definitely needs a new bathtub

This hotel used to offer safety deposit boxes in the rooms, but seems to have discontinued this. This is a shame as it adds a lot of value to the property. I also think some of their no smoking policies could be stronger. As there were a couple of nights where I could clearly smell smoke in my room coming in through the air-conditioner.

I have stayed in this hotel before, and I’m happy to return again. I look forward to staying next year also. The room had all advertised amenities, and was comfortable and well cleaned.

Bathrooms need a lot of renovations, but were clean. No fridge in the room just a mini bar with an open freezer compartment. A family room would have been better with a proper sized fridge. We knew only after 4 days that housekeeping do not come regularly, you have to request it when you need it. Breakfast was adequate but only few options. There were oatmeal, tea, coffee, apples and a grab and go bag which contained a small juice pack, a granola bar, and a sausage croissant which had pork in it. Last day they switched the juice with a bottle of water which was much better, wish they have done that during the whole stay. However I would suggest just serving the sausage croissant/juice without the brown bag so you can just grab only what you need. Also a plain croissant or just a bun would have been a good option for vegetarians. Providing some milk for the oatmeal would have been great.

We stayed in a one bedroom suite, we liked it so much that the kids could stay in the same room with us but in a separate area. The main bed was pretty good with clean sheets, however the mattress of the sofa bed was so thin and uncomfortable. Sofa bed is suitable for only one kid/adult but not 2. Heater worked pretty well on the cold days. There were 2 bathrooms in the suite, which we did not expect but was very helpful. Location was great, 5min to the beach/ocean. Pool was nice and a little warm but not hot enough. Kids could go only for one afternoon when the sun was shining. There were tea and coffee ready in the lobby the whole day.

We’ve stayed here before and the upkeep was much better. This room was not. The bathroom had spots in the shower and on the walls that looked like black mold. The walls in the sleeping area had spots on them that we didn’t know or want to know what it was. Overall upkeep was not there, even for the price.

Elevator old and full of spiders balcony area seems old parking Issues annoying had to park in front down a hill when room was in the back of the hotel. FOOD was in a bag and not great

Tub is showing its age and very worn. AC/Heaters have seen better days. Very noisey.

Super convenient location, right off the I5, near train station, close to beach, right by Coast Hwy, across the street from grocery store, restaurants, pub. Room had a microwave and mini fridge, coffee maker. Hotel offered bag to go breakfast and coffee.

The birds in the roof. These were not quiet birds. There was a hole in the eaves of the building which allowed a family of pigeons to build a nest above my room.

The hotel promised a swimming pool but when we arrived it was closed (not sure why, or for how long). The breakfast was minimal, more a "grab and go" snacks style (but fine - plenty of good alternatives nearby)

Comfortable stay for a decent price. Good location near amenities and easy access by car to beaches and nearby attractions. The staff were very helpful in sorting out my booking error.

My sheets were not clean and reeked of cigarettes. Also, the frozen breakfast sandwich was NOT good.

Liked the price. The breakfast sucked big time. Brown bags with stuff inside. You had to take a full bag and if you only wanted one of the items the other stuff got wasted. Very pathetic.
