How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The shower could have been a little hotter, but the pressure was great!
Large room and comfortable beds, very easy and friendly check-in and out. We loved the coffee maker!

We had an excellent stay at Dew Drop. The room was super clean, comfortable and spacious. The water pressure of the shower was awesome which was so great after a long day of chilly hiking. The staff was helpful. Great Forks location for exploring the area.

We couldn’t figure out how to turn the balcony light off so it did let some light in overnight
Great location set back slightly from the main road so there was no road noise. Room was clean and comfortable with nice amenities. Front desk staff were very friendly and had heaps of information about local attractions and tours

We had two beds and they were only full size instead of queens.
The hotel was recently renovated and much better than I was expecting for a little town in the middle of nowhere.

we booked a room for five but the sofa wasn’t ready to sleep on so we had to ask for sheets and do it ourselves
rooms are quite big and beds are comfortable

nothing walking distance for food or drink
property in good shape not much offered around site after 10 pm but was clean friendly staff definitely got what I paid for would stay again rooms were larger than other establishments in area

Would have liked to be informed of ice machine not working when I arrived and not only when I left (as for the road tripper, the ice is essential) but that's tiny and hopefully temporary.
From the pictures and reviews I expected less but was pleased that the room has everything I needed and even the fridge was not very loud. Internet OK and even desk available.

Comfortable place, Tesla charger right outside. Easy to walk around Forks (because the city is small!) No complaints, happy with our stay

Ice machine didn't work for 3 of the 4 days. Thought it was overpriced but it was the Twilight Festival

The room wasn't very clean. The sofa in the sitting area had stains and there was a huge spider web from the fridge to the kitchen countertop.. we didn't go near the kitchen as much as we had hoped to, as we weren't sure about the cleanliness of that area. The exterior could have some lighting, as it gets very dark at night. The pillows could have been better, but workable.. The price was a bit high though, but we traveled during the labor day weekend, so it's probably the peak pricing period..
The location of the place was good, and it was near restaurants, coffee shops and Tesla superchargers. We booked a king suite which has 2 King beds on the 2nd floor and the 1st floor had a sitting area. It was spacious for a family of 3 adults and 2 kids. The room had a nice kitchenette as well and was convenient for families with toddlers/kids. Bathrooms were clean though. The room was overall good and nothing bad to complain about, especially given the location etc.

Bed old. Toilet seat very old and warn. Long hair on bath towel, not our color. Carpet worn and stained in places. Balcony was old and deteriorating, gave under my feet. Faucet was too large for the little sink and water overflowed on the floor.
Spacious room. Mostly quite clean. Quiet. Good location. Shampoo was nice.
