Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. United StatesBut Hours passed without any communication from either booking.com or the hotel. Frustrated, I called booking.com again after 8 pm, during which they successfully reached the hotel and confirmed the reservation. The manager, upon receiving the call, explained the confusion regarding the names and third-party booking. Returning to the front desk, I faced Derrick once more, who reiterated the same excuses. He said, "My manager called me to apologize to you." But no actual apology was offered. Even if he had missed the names on the list, a sincere effort to help or listen could have resolved the issue swiftly. Instead, he treated us as a nuisance, delaying our check-in for more than 4 hours. The rooms I reserved were two rooms with a king bed and one room with two queen beds. However, upon check-in, we were allocated one king room and two queen rooms without any explanation. This encounter epitomized the most appalling, rude, and unprofessional behavior I have ever experienced at a hotel. Despite being a frequent traveler and former Hilton Diamond member, I am deeply disappointed by this experience. It raises concerns about the management and service standards of this Hilton property, and I question whether they recognize the severity of this incident.
The hotel is terribly managed and lacks responsibility. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. I booked 3 rooms at DoubleTree by Hilton Columbus Dublin through booking.com for a family visit. We arrived at the property at 5 pm on Saturday, and Derrick, a person at the front desk, assisted us with check-in. Shortly after handing over the keys for the first room, he informed us that the second room was still being prepared but provided no further information. I expressed confusion, stating, "It's 5 o'clock," to which he replied, "I know the time," with a period. I felt embarrassed by his attitude but inquired again about the 4 pm check-in time. He responded by attributing the delay to a shortage of housekeeping staff, disclaiming any responsibility. He even refused to provide an estimated time for the second room's readiness Unfortunately, this was just the beginning. When he claimed inability to locate the third room in the system, I explained that all three rooms were booked under the same confirmation number but with different names. He insisted he couldn't take action unless booking.com resent the reservation details due to their third-party booking. Despite my requests to review the confirmation details on my phone, he refused, accusing me of holding up the line and wasting his energy. After enduring a 40-minute wait on the phone, I finally contacted booking.com, whose representative promised to contact the property to locate the third room. However, they informed me that the hotel repeatedly hung up on them and failed to connect with the property. I requested cancellation of the third room but was informed it required confirmation from the property, with a promise of an update within 24-48 hours via chat. This resolution was impractical, as I needed immediate accommodation. The booking.

United StatesThe one elevator was a long way from our room and not centrally located. The bathroom was so small that if you were on the toilet and somebody opened the bathroom door, the door would hit your kneecaps. Every time that the room next to ours flushed their toilet, ours would also flush. Very annoying early in the morning or late at night. The room did not have a microwave. Wi-Fi was not free.

United StatesThe only issue we experienced was with the breakfast hours. My daughter had a soccer game at 7:30am. She had to be at the fields by 7:00am for warm ups. Breakfast only started at 7:00am. With warm ups and travel time, we were not able to eat the breakfast we paid for. On the night we checked in, I requested to have a single breakfast served earlier for my daughter and was told that was not possible. I felt the hotel could have done something to accommodate us on this.

United StatesWe travel with our child and she was very excited about the pool. Sadly, it was closed both days and evenings. Your hotel is expensive and if you cannot accommodate everything you say you will offer, you should volunteer other options or a reduction in price.
It was clean but no one got our trash or left us towels for day 2. We had to go and ask for towels and seemed to inconvenience the hotel clerk. No one had gotten the trash in hotel lobby and they seemed to be full everywhere.
