Owner is very friendly & helpful. The place is older but the beds are comfy & clean- and the location is walking distance to most everything you need. Also, parking is secure.

Amazing price for staying in Berkeley. If you wake up early you will be able to park your car for free on site - there are only a few parking spots. Five minutes from Berkeley campus - Go Bears !! The owner is super nice. The room was large and basic but perfect for sleeping. I will be back if I need lodging.

The room's decor is dated and worn. There is no microwave, refrigerator or ice machine which would be helpful. One of the windows in the room could not be opened.

The room was very clean but needs updating. The location is near many restaurants and a movie theater. The rate is a good value. There is also limited free parking and an elevator. It's a few blocks away from the Saturday farmer's market.

The sink outside the bathroom seems not very practical to me, but in the end it was not such a big issue.

The location of the hotel was very convenient to access the campus, and very close to the BART station. The lady at the reception was very friendly and helpful. I also found the available LAN cable in the room very useful.

Some issues with the furniture and things like the curtains having some damage. The other issue we had was it felt there were not many outlets for us to use.

The bed was nice and comfy. I also liked how large the bathroom was. The location was nice and it felt tucked away from everything.

The motel was very well situated, just 2 blocks from Berkeley’s campus and restaurants.

The location was perfect - close to everything including the BART station. The staff (manager and cleaning people) were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were large, comfortable and clean. I loved that I could open the windows. Also, right next to the fantastic Berkeley

Room was a bit "tired". Could use some replacement of furnishings.

Easy check in. Owner lives at the property, so someone responsible for the hotel is always there. Location for downtown Berkeley and the university very good.

Windows couldn't open. Air con did not really work but luckily the weather was great. Check in was a hassle since nobody was at the "lobby". We rang the bell several times and waited for a little bit before being checked in.

Great location for visiting kids attending Berkeley (we were there for their concerts). Very close to campus and to BART. Very convenient. It's like a motel. Very basic nothing fancy but good value.

No fridge in the room. I would like a place to store things. I also had the soda machine not working. The elevator was also old and not up to code.

I initially couldn't find the motel. I was up at the next block looking at 2005 (your address is 2001) and started walking West where the numbers should have went down to 2001, but they went up instead!

It took a while for the heater to start running after it beeped to turn on and it wasn't clear if it was working or not. Then it sounded like a helicopter for a while, before it warmed up and the sound became more normal. It was just very old. Everything in the room was old. It seemed like it had the original furniture, mattress, carpet, and colors on the wall from when it was first built, presumably in the 1970's.

The front desk person was very nice.
