Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesCheck in process- we waited to get check in till 5pm Front desk was rude. We arrived at 8am from a red eye trip we knew we cant check in yet so we had our luggages stored, morning shift front desk told us they will get our rooms ready by 3pm. We came back past 3 pm and and gold us to wait 45 min because room is not ready after an hour of waiting in crowded lobby they told us room is still not ready - eventually gave us a room at 4th floor no views and rooms and you can hear loud noise from street.

United StatesThe 3rd elevator was being repaired/updated. The morning rush was frustrating and required a bit of patience. The 2 working elevators were "staffed" and operated manually. This was to make the best of a bad situation. Again, it took some patience and time maintenance.
The staff was super nice. Our king room with city view was very comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast was good if a bit chaotic with lots of people but the staff handled it very well.

United StatesRooms are very small. No where to hang a hand towel. Some Elevators were down so had to wait 10min every time I went up and down which was really annoying. One note: I only stayed in this location because it was near an event I was going to. The area itself is loud, smells like pot and has questionable characters roaming around. There are better areas to stay in.
Easy to get in and out of hotel (vs larger hotels), decent free breakfast, friendly staff.

HungaryThe neighborhood is very crowded because the hotel is next to the Port Authority Terminal. One of the three elevators is not working, so there are lines on all the 40 floors. So people, prepare yourself for climbing stairs. I can imagine some gluten free options for breakfast.
They give a little bit more than other hotels (bigger room, facilities, very good breakfast bottled water).

ColombiaI didn't like the breakfast. It was too simple, with too many people and too few tables. The Wi-Fi didn't work; I used my mobile data the whole time. The location was good, close to everything, but the street was dirty and a bit lonely at night.
The room was perfect for a two-night stay. It was comfortable and clean, and the view was beautiful. The staff was very kind and helpful.

GreeceElevator!!!...elevator!!! elevator!!!...the hotel has only three elevators for almost 250 rooms and more than 500 guests and visitors...One of the elevators was completely out of work... from the other remaining two, one was partially working with malfunctions and only one was in place...As a result, you had to wait in the line, either downstairs at the lobby , or from your high floor, for 15-'20-30 minutes or more for your service...
location, staff, cleanliness, small kitchen inside, refrigerator, wifi...Subway was very close, and all famous sightseeing's were in a walking distance ....

KenyaThe discounted rate was only for the day and other daily rates applied for the rest of the days. That was not clarified when booking so it overshot my budget.

CanadaIt was very crowded, and the elevators did not work properly. But they did a good job managing it the best way they could.
This would be perfect for families since they have a great kitchenette in the rooms. It feels like an apartment.

FranceThe breakfast was of rather poor quality. Insustrial goods. Although I have been warned in advance that one of the 3 elevators was out of order the waiting time at the 2 remaining elevators was some times horrible. Some mornings I went down by the stairs (33 floors)

United StatesThe hotel has 3 elevators for 40 floors and one of them was broken so it was painfully long waits for the Elevator. Also they hold your bag only until 9pm so you need to get check in and retrieve your bag before then. Otherwise you can't get your bag.
