Some of paint work of the furniture was starting to show wear and tear, but nothing that a lick of paint wouldn’t solve.

Fantastic location, very reasonable price, staff all friendly, and modern interior at the entrance. Linen of high quality, very comfortable bed. WiFi fast and easy to connect to - good range of entertainment on the TV.

The valet was nowhere to be found, i waited about ten minutes for someone but they did not show up. I parked on the street, forgetting to pay the parking fee since it was raining and my birthday makeup was getting ruined. This caused me to be ticketed $70.

The room was clean, staff was nice. Overall my stay was peaceful and quiet which is great to experience downtown.

They advertise a flexible check-in but charge $30 if you want to check in before 3 pm. The amenities are a bit dated though still manageable. No tea/coffeemaker.

The location is ideal, close to CTA lines and buses, you can also walk to the loop if the weather allows. Reasonably comfortable room though a bit dated.

The bar/coffee/breakfast area. It’s off to the side so when someone is waiting the front desk can’t see or may be busy, which was fine. The breakfast selection is minimal, so we didn’t go look at that as a perk.

The staff was amazing, I wish I could remember the names of the two people who stood out because they were polite, patient, and accommodating. We were able to get a mini fridge & the lady at the front was able to make us a great latte in the AM!

The overnight parking was expensive and the room didn’t have a fridge or microwave. The bar was very limited with drinks.

We were shocked with the availability of close parking within a reasonable price. 74.00 for parking nearest the hotel per day! We parked in an uncovered parking lot 8 -10 minutes walking distance, which is not too bad. Luckily, it was in the 40s and 50s. That was 48.00 for 2 nights. I guess this may be normal for experienced big city travelers, but for someone coming from rural Kansas, it was a shock. We traveled to California, Dallas, Houston, Paris France, England Costa Rica, Jamaica, and a few other places and have never had to park somewhere else other than the hotel we were staying in. Note: On the website, it references parking. However, you need to read between the lines that it will cost to park somewhere else. Bathrooms! Wear depends. That's a joke. In and around the city, there are few to no public restrooms. Even CVS! McDonald's had a public restrooms. However, it was guarded like Fort Knox by a security officer, and you had to have a receipt of purchase, and then a worker at the busy counter had to buzz you in. What a fiasco since my husband was in the drive-through, and he had to tell them to give the receipt to me. Normally, I wouldn't be upset, but when you have to go to the bathroom, you have to go! Our room had a view of the streets, but you also heard all the noises from the street. My husband slept through it all. I really didn't mind because I am a people watcher. However, at 1am, 2am when the bars closed down, it was a bit noisy.

Close to restaurants, clean rooms, and staff were kind and courteous. We really did enjoy our stay, even with the total cost of our two night stay being as expensive as it was. Sure, we could have gone cheaper, but who wants to sleep in an unclean and unsafe hotel. Walking around, we felt very safe. Mind you, we were not out after 9 pm. The city lights are amazing, especially over the canal.

For the price their was no breakfast for the price I paid. Did not live up to its reputation. Skimpy breakfast. It is a 2-3 star hotel. The rest of the stay was great.
