Breakfast is pretty weak could use a lot of improvement and unfortunately the building as it is being rather old is noisy you can hear people talking in the other rooms and or moving around televisions, etc.

Like the location, the cleanliness, plenty of hot water, furniture, decorations, and layout were nice

They need to spread salt and send to reach the hill and other units we was able to reach the first day but second day it we left the car in the mid of the driway behind the hotel we cannot reach the top. The ice on the back road need to be spreaded with salt or sand.

the breakfast was amazing and the room was great. the facility really worth the money

Noisy people above us kept us awake throughout night. Hot tub was broken which was a disappointment after a day of skiing given you advertise a hot tub. Bed felt like it was made of packed straw. Very lumpy. Actually, top part seemed lower than bottom.

Good variety at breakfast. Nice having the car brushes handy at the front door. All staff were very helpful.

I wish that the continental breakfast had some nicer options .

The loft style was spacious for our family size. It was close to the ski rental stores and only a few miles away from the Stowe mountain resort. Great pricing for the stay.

Breakfast isn't great - it would be nice to have less pastries and sweet stuff before skiing.

Location great - able to walk to restaurants and into Stowe. Communal sitting areas and bar very nice and so was hot tub.

We had a lovely time at the Field Guide Lodge and would absolutely stay here again next time!

Some finishes in the room could've been neater. Some tiles on the floor were loose, you could see the gap between the flooring and the wall. The shower faucet was angled too much towards the wall so showering was a bit awkward, the shower door didn't have a tight seal so there was water leaking. There was also a stain on the carpet next to the bed. Nothing too terrible that disrupted our stay at all, but just a few minor things that if fixed, could really elevate the resort.

We loved all the amenities of Field Guide Lodge. The rooms were comfortable, the downstairs amenities were great. We loved all the areas to hangout in and the board games to play. The bar was nice too. We didn't get a chance to try the hot tub but it looked nice. The Breakfast was fine! Enough options to get full on before heading out for the day. It changed a little bit every day, some fruit salad, a pastry, and an egg dish. We also loved the location, not on the Main Street but close enough to everything where it was just a short drive or a 15min walk away.

The bathroom was a little on the cold side plus the rooms weren't overly sound proof.

The hotel was a quick walk to the main street which had shopping and restaurants and a short drive to plenty of beautiful hiking trails. Also, the hotel lobby was nicely decorated with plenty of seating and cozy fireplaces. The free tea, coffee, apple cider and breakfast was also a nice touch.

The breakfast was almost gone by 9 every day. We were upgraded to the summit room as my mom couldn't do stairs. The room was very small and had no space for luggage. Bathroom was even smaller with no water pressure.

Loved the lodge lobby and staff was nice. Decor was done very well and modern.

It was not so clean - the room smells bad with an odor coming from the bathroom. Breakfast was also not enjoyable because it was very limited and does not offer bread or eggs for instance which are quite normal in a hotel.

The reception and the area where the people can get together at night to have some drinks is fantastic. Very cosy and relaxing.

Breakfast, we knew it was going to be a limited offering but this was pushing limited to an extreme. I’d rather they hadn’t bothered and in turn made the stay slightly cheaper. Our room had a lot of steps to navigate (not easy with suitcases). Also had /still have discrepancies over bill

Lovely setting and vibe in the bar. Overall location was good yet quiet. The hotel had a very chilled vibe to it.

There’s no room safe to keep passport in and money. The air con was good but the machine was noisy. The breakfast isn’t great. The ‘hot’ water for tea is not hot ! It’s barely warm which is no good for making tea. There’s no elevator and when you have heavy luggage to carry up 2 flights of stairs it’s not ideal. Also after a day of hiking up mountains your legs and knees hurt walking up stairs! It’s really bad the hotel bar is not open half the week and was closed every day we stayed there.

Great location to town and restaurants opposite. Lovely looking place Fab hot tub after a day of hiking Reception staff are really helpful and polite. The pumpkin breakfast muffin and quiche are delicious! Nice shower Toiletries were lush Good mini fridge in room My birthday card and cookies and popcorn and face mask were an absolute delight and surprise!

It would be helpful if there is a business nook/center with a laptop and all in one printer and scanner.

The staff at Field Guide Lodge are outstanding. They were able to assist with logistical issues and provided excellent recommendations for diving out. The location is convenient for access to the charming Lower Village (Stowe's Main Street) which has unique shopping experiences and fabulous restaurants.

There were no quiet areas to sit in as there was constant music piped in throughout the facility both inside and outside. We had what was described as a large double room but there were no chairs for sitting, no closet, or dressers to use. The sink in the bathroom was very long but there was no place to put our toiletries. The shower stall was equivalent to a shower stall on a cruise ship…very small.

The location was perfect as it was within walking distance of the Main Street area with shops and restaurants. The property looked like it was recently refurbished. There were many sitting areas throughout the hotel both inside and out. The breakfast food was good. Our room and bathroom were very clean and well maintained. The air conditioner worked well. The employees were very friendly.

However decorated and designed are different. I found the function of spaces simply wasn't there. We only stayed two nights in the summer. I can't imagine what it would be like in the winter. Upon entering the room. Please add two hooks on the wall for coats. There is absolute minimum to none for storage. The little side table blocks of wood could be cubbies to allow for extras storage. The construction was terrible. Full daylight around the door. The entire hotel lacked proper ventilation. It all smelled so stale. Also never put headboards from two room on the same wall! Listening to someone else's evening "wind down" was horrible.

It has been so well decorated. Clearly the team behind the branding understood the assignment. Everywhere we explored seemed like we were in a vintage ski lodge moment. I adored the bedside lights. Breakfast was good and so beautifully presented.
