Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe hallway carpets had a ridged texture that were very difficult to move rolling luggage over. The promised free shuttle from the airport to the hotel was terribly unreliable. It never showed up and the shuttle driver from the other nearby Sheraton graciously offered to take me to my hotel. This happened on both my flights through LA. Getting from the hotel to LAX worked fine.
The room was clean and comfortable.

FijiAir conditioner/ heater unit in 564 needs to be replaced urgently. Incredibly noisy and also rattled terribly on low or automatic setting, so we had to leave it on high all night. When it kicks in it's loud enough to wake you up. Also its placement means that the dark curtains don't close, and in fact only close over half the window, so there is no way to keep out the lights from the nearby buildings,

United KingdomOne of the reasons I chose the hotel was the fact that it had a restaurant. I was arriving late afternoon after a long flight from London Heathrow and needed a meal. I went to the restaurant at 6pm to read a sign saying restaurant closed this evening.
Courtesy coach was excellent as were the staff at the Check-in Desk. The bed in the room was very comfortable and despite the closeness of the airport I was not disturbed by aircraft taking off or landing

United States-Beds were very uncomfortable. -Room was small -shower leaked all night and was still noticeable over the very loud traffic sounds and air-conditioning. -Pubic hair was on the lip of bathroom sink *barf -Hair on rim of shower -Outlet on desk area was completely cut out. Only 1 alarm clock to charge all devices.

United StatesThe $350 deposit is outrageous. They said it would be returned in two to three days. It's been 4 and still not returned. The room seemed clean and it was mostly. But upon closer inspection there was mold under the ridge of the sink and there was fungus in the shower head (I have photos). THE DOOR IS A HAZARD. IT IS SO HEAVY IT COULD EASILY BREAK A FINGER, HAND, WRIST OR TOE! BEWARE. IT REQUIRES TWO ABLE PEOPLE TO GET IN AND OUT SAFELY WITH LUGGAGE.
Free shuttle to the airport every 40 minutes or so was nice, as long as you are not in a hurry. Every 20 minutes would've been better. Also, when the shuttle arrived, it was already close to capacity. So people who'd been waiting for a while didn't make it. Fortunately we were in line in time. We were the last two and we had to stand. There were several good choices for food nearby, including The Shake Shack, yum!!! The bed was comfy.

Sheraton? More like "Shera-don't." Once a hotel staple, it now feels like a tired Holiday Inn. Sure, it's close enough to LAX that you could walk to the terminal if you're feeling adventurous, but the room? Last updated in 1997, with a bathroom that’s a puzzle to navigate. The check-in staff is fast and friendly, and the lobby's been spruced up, but the rooms are straight out of a cave. It’s fine for a quick layover, but don’t expect anything glamorous—Sheraton’s standards have definitely slipped.
