Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.

United KingdomNone that I could think of. In relation to the keycards, I had to have it replaced for a number of times because for some reason it would not let me re-enter the room 🤣.
It’s very accessible to the Subway, also, there’s 24 hour deskhelp. I am also satisfied with the security. The area is relatively quiet. The room exceeded my expectation. Bed is comfortable. Wifi has very good speed. Got enough room to move around the room. Staff were very helpful. Special thanks to Doug & the other Filipino-American staff 😀. Checking-in and checking out was smooth. I highly recommend this place if you are planning to visit NY.

FranceLong Island City is a neighbourhood in transformation, but at the moment is not yet the nicest neighbourhood in New York City. Prices for the days I stayed were insane all over New York City because of the marathon, so it might be due to such a special occasion, but overall I found the hotel too expensive for what it is and where it is located.
The hotel is relatively modern, the room I stayed was comfortable and had a very nice view over Long Island City centre and Manhattan, more or less the same view of the rooftop bar and restaurant. Long Island City is well connected by metro to Manhattan.

PolandUnbearably hot water in the tap only at arrival (no cold water), fixed next day by a cleaning lady who was kind and helpful. One towel missing, provided at the reception at request immediately, also one quilt missing, provided right next day.
Good location (two subway stations available nearby), very helpful and kind stuff available 24/7, very good restaurant with a friendly and kind waitress. Towels changed every day. Comfortable beds, a spacious and clean room. A kettle with coffee and tea available in the room. Great water pressure in the shower. Very happy with the stay.

United StatesI know NYC is expensive, but this felt particularly expensive for a hotel that seems in need of some updates. Cracks in the ceilings and walls, poor soundproofing to the hallways.
The staff was wonderful and friendly every time we saw them. Excellent hospitality. Comfortable bed and convenient location. Ample street parking.

I liked that the location was 6 minutes walking from a metro station to Manhattan. There are also closeby breakfast places and bars. The room was clean and tv was big. They also provide free coffee. The staff at the front desk was also very attentive and helpful when we had a problem about the bed in the first room.
