Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. I loved everything. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with such joy from Angel who also guided us in the right direction to the subway and explained things in detail. She was extremely helpful and kind, we need more people like her in the world. Pictures dont do these views justice. I will definitely be back to this hotel, it didn't disappoint, the views were amazing and everything was within distance once on the subway that was like a few minutes walking distance. I've stayed in Manhattan in previous times but this was by far the best stay and the best experience overall. Wish I could have stayed longer!

United StatesThe WiFi didn’t work at all. The breakfast was lousy and didn’t have any accommodations for dietary restrictions, not even soy or almond milk which is standard these days. And the front desk staff didn’t go out of their way to be kind and helpful. In fact the woman who checked me out was irritated and yelled at me when I asked her to explain my charges to me. Not cool for $300 a night.
The room was ok and the bed very comfortable. The rooftop bar and restaurant was the highlight of the place, really awesome view and very nice staff. And the private parking was a plus.

Seems to me that staff is not educated or very polite. They are probably overworked beceause of shortstaffing. Our friends room was given away altough they were there that morning and were not allowe to check in cause it was too eearly. They gave their room to somebody else. Unbelievable.

United StatesStaff admitted that they lie about the availability of parking on site. I contacted them before booking and they described there will be spaces because we’re arriving on a Thursday. Arrived … nope! There was also no parking outside to unload bags. The alternative parking site is a 5-minute walk and inside but your car might be stacked. The room was in disrepair; too much to describe. “Ambience” in the lobby and in the deli on the 1st floor was not at all in line with anywhere we want to visit so we avoided those spaces. Fake flowers and plants used to decorate the scenic top floor represented the poor quality of the entire property.
It was next to a hotel that had an awesome restaurant (Beene).
