Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

The location was perfect for us so that we could go to several Broadway shows. The bed was larger than I expected and very comfortable. Bathroom facilities were very good. We appreciated getting the bottled water everyday. Everyone at the front desk was cordial and very helpful. We really appreciated that there was no noise at night. It made for restful sleep.

Receptionist checking us in wore a mask and it was difficult to hear her with the noise from outside and lobby which I did tell her that I can barely hear her. I have not been told I will be charged random amounts of security deposits througout my stay. Apart from her, all reception staff was excellent and friendly. Room had very dirty windows and no view.
Great location,short walk to Times Square. Good size room, good shower. Overall pleasant stay.

PolandI would certainly give a higher rating, but we had a stressful situation with the deposit. Due to a system error, we were charged way much more than we should have been, and a large portion of our budget for a trip to New York was blocked for the rest of our stay. The hotel manager did everything in his power to fix this, but the deposit was not unlocked until after we returned home.
Very nice hotel with excellent location. Breakfast better than we expected. Very helpful staff. Good value for the money we paid for our stay.

Although the rooms weren’t huge they were adequate for what we needed, who comes to New York to stay in their room! Buffet breakfast was great, it was included in our booking. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Rooms were serviced every day. Location is great for walking up or downtown and close to subways.

United KingdomOur room felt rather cramped. It had a king bed but it left hardly any room to move about the room in.
All the reception staff were absolutely fantastic. It was extremely hot whilst we were there so each afternoon when we returned to the hotel there was ice cold water in reception for us to drink. It was greatly appreciated. We love walking so for us it was in walking distance to many shops, Times Square and Central Park. However, on the corner of the street there was a metro station and it was less than 10 mins walk away from Penn Station.

CanadaThe bed sheets in my room smelled like cigarettes. The area is close to everything, however NYC isn't the same. NYC smells like hot garbage. There's a lot of homeless people/drug addicts that surrounded the area. The view outside the window of my room is a parking lot and buildings. The government needs to really work on cleaning up the city or more and more people won't return. I used to love going to NYC however as of now, I won't return to NYC. I feel bad for saying it because the staff at the hotel rely on tourists for their income. So I really hope that the mayor of the city will focus on improving the street conditions.
The staff was very helpful. Abraham at the front desk was very responsive when I had inquiries prior to my stay. I was able to get an early check-in time for 12pm. Samuel at the bar was extremely nice and we had good conversation. The hotel itself works for a short stay. The staff works hard to make guests feel comfortable.
