How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The hotel is a bit outdated, furniture a bit weathered but overall a good experience. I would stay there again.

The pillows were not good, and the towels were worn out, not fluffy anymore, hurting my skin. The room was too dated, the furniture was scratched, mismatched, and ugly, and the bathroom fan (if any) wasn't working. Not many toiletries for a Mariott. I found it expensive for the shortcomings, and I sure expected more.
I loved the bed; the mattress was firm and comfy, and the room was very clean. The breakfast buffet was exactly what we needed; the eggs were great. The staff was very friendly, and the front desk lady found me as a Mariott member and added to the reservation even before I asked. We would stay again (we visited the bar to watch games in the past, and it was always a pleasant experience).

The in room coffee and tea service was lacking.
The location was perfect for my two jobs . But because we didn’t have time to dine in the restaurant either in the evening or morning, we missed out on the charm of the place.

The room was small and it’s easy to get lost with many hallways ending in a locked door. It would be good to have more directional signs.

The bathroom needs a ventilation fan otherwise the fire alarm goes off while using hot water in shower.

The fact of a fee for every day maid was surprising… and unwelcomed. The cost of full breakfast service was cost prohibitive in view of the room rate. The bathtub and sink drained very slowly… I’ll let front desk know as we checked out.

It was all pretty good other then a funny looking stain on the lamp shade other wise it was all great.

Soundproofing wasn't great so we could hear a lot of the noises late at night from other guests
Good location, clean room, breakfast was provided (included) in our room rate, and a lot better than the standard breakfast at other hotels Bed is plenty for a family of three (parents + toddler)

I paid for my stay in full on Booking.com prior to our arrival. A few days after we checked out, my credit card was charged for an extra person fee (when we didn’t have more than the four people I booked for) and another fee which could not be explained. These charges were eventually refunded however, I still took a loss as the exchange rate on my credit card was higher when they charged vs when the charges were refunded. Another family that booked also noticed charges after they checked out as well. Check your statement as this could happen to you.
Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. Hot breakfast was included with our package and they had a good selection to choose from. The restaurant staff were all very kind and friendly. Pool, hot tub and gym were also available which was nice. All in all it was great until after we checked out.

Road noise from Hwy 101 plus noisy AC interfered with sleep a bit.
Comfy bedding and pillows. Nice TV and easy to navigate ability to watch TV.

There needed to be more lighting on the room.

Sheets/bedding was scratchy and pillows very limp with no support which made sleeping difficult.
The interior courtyard was gorgeous and staff was wonderful. Felt well taken care of.
