The place is a land lord special, made in the 1970's and ran down. Instead of proper building repairs the owners just cover it with more paint. It was clean so I give them that but when there are 1/4in gaps around your door, a bowed ceiling, and completely worn out un-usable outlets in the room, it makes you question what else are they hiding they can't paint over. Is there mold in the AC unit? Is the water safe to drink? They advertise breakfast but that was two boxes of cereal with an unrefrigerated jug of milk. There is good value but for charging the same cost as local big brand hotels, just no comparison unless this place was substantially cheaper. If the cost was 30% less I would consider this a great value and wouldn't mind staying again.

I think the staff can be more attentive. There was a cricket in the sink and I saw a bug or a little roach in the restroom. The shower needs to be in better condition. The only breakfast they had was cereal.

Maybe that it was off the freeway and somewhere to sleep. I appreciated that front desk called me to return my debit card when I forgot it at the front desk. Thank you.

Rooms are very dated but they were clean. Light by bed did not work. Did have floor lamp in its place. No light switch at door to light room when I came in.

The floor of the bathtub had been painted and the paint was peeling up. The drain itself was not fastened to the tub floor causing it to move and not drain the water, and paint chips were going down the drain. The entrance doors were poorly fitted and light could be seen coming in around the edges, while causing the smell of the use of marijuana and alcohol in the other rooms to drift through the hallways, but not inside my room. Had it been smelled in my room, I would have changed hotels.

Appeared to be well cleaned both nights I stayed.

Harsh florescent light throughout the room, very hard to relax under- it's lit up like a Walmart, more than a bedroom/living room. The bathrooms had 'incandescent lights, which is better for getting ready in the morning, but the bright, Walmart like florescent light in the sleeping area was very annoying. Frankly the price tag was high, for a traveling spot with no amenities. The power outlet in the vanity area was also not working, and the types of plugs used in other areas made it impossible to use the hair dryer by the living area mirror, hopefully that is fixed soon. More soundproofing is a good idea, as you can hear even quiet conversations between your immediate neighbors, and every sound in the hallway. Fortunately even though it was a Friday night I stayed, there was no noise much after 10 p.m.

The bed was very comfortable, and the TV set was a fairly new and good one. The location was very good, easy on/off from the freeway, and a lot of food options nearby, mostly drive through but there is also a very good Greek sit-down cafe across the street. The room was sizeable, and besides th bed there were two tables and even an additional "comfy" chair. The clothes area and bathroom were also of a good size, and it was very clean- the outside is very run down, but the room itself was clean. The staff I interacted with minimally, but they were very polite and helpful, and very prompt.

Front desk clerk refused a request to give us a couple extra pillows. Hair dryer outlet didn't work so had to remove from slot on wall and use in the other room. Had to pay an additional $20 upon arriving even though we'd already booked/paid in full-wasn't clear on what that was for. Hope we get it back. Room was reasonably clean, but obvious floor hadn't been swept/mopped prior to our arrival.
