Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. The room was spacious, the staff was exemplary, the facility was pleasant, a clear path to the beach, and an amazing experience for the price. We recommend them with the only reservation, if this gem gets found out about we may have trouble competing for a room.

United StatesWe always stay at the Grey Gull when in Ocean Shores. Its reliable, and affordable. We usually stay on the second floor for the view of the ocean. Because of a broke leg, we stayed on the first floor. It made it easy to get to the pool for a night time swim. I love the Grey Gull.

We had a room with a view, but the view was a distance from the beach. We had a third floor room with no pets in the vicinity. (This was excellent for us.). The sauna experience was clean and comfortable, the best sauna we ever had at a hotel. The hotel operated as a true resort - the pool was actually heated warm, chidren were restricted from the hot tub and sauna and the hours were from 10 am - 10 pm - no exceptions! The room was actually an apartment and was very spacious. The kitchen was fully equipped and also a good size. There were towels for the pool and in the sauna. In the lobby there were hot drinks - coffee, tea, apple cider and hot chocolate. Walking distance to the beach was not far. There was a DVD player and a good selection of DVDs. We had a wonderful time and certainly will stay the Grey Gull if and when we return to Ocean Shores. Thank you to our check in hostess and the very friendly and helpful staff!
