How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

There is nothing I didn't like about the place! It was close to Mayo clinic where I needed to be!
Our room TV wasn't working so the front desk lady offered to come up and take a look. When she got there decided it may have not been fixed, because there was issues with it previously. So she said I can switch you rooms, and I asked if we had to come down, she said oh no I will bring new keys to you! She was so awesome! I don't remember her name but she was so nice for doing all that for us! Thank you! It was fun also having the pool to ourselves when we used it!

Parking. Beds were lumpy and room didn't seem fresh.The location was a bit sketchy. Parking was horrible. The drains didn't drain well.
The price was great. The guy at the front desk was very nice.

The door keys were very finicky.
The staff was very accommodating. The breakfasts were phenomenal. The hotel, although older, was very clean and comfortable.

Bed sheets were scratchy, beds very hard, bathroom was dirty with bath tub having dirt in it, head board had not been wiped down, side of beed was dirty.
The price was good. Just didn’t realize that we would get a lower standard in cleanliness and comfort

The room was big and the beds were comfortable. Although it was busy for a Friday night, the top floor was quiet and I was able to sleep well. There was a nice variety for breakfast, including hot foods and breads/yogurts/eggs.

It was dirty and smelt heavily of marijuana
I couldn’t even stay! It was disgusting and smelt of marijuana throughout the building and in my room. I was staying in the area because I had multiple days of medical appointments at the Mayo Clinic and staying would have jeopardized my health. I got charged for a day and spent less than 15-20 minutes there.

The room appeared unfinished, with glue and tape left out the air conditioner was quite loud, but I managed to fix it temporarily by removing and replacing the cover. Despite these inconveniences, the proximity to the clinic was a significant advantage.
The fact that it was fairly close to the Mayo Clinic was nice.

Wish the elevator was more centrally located, as our room was on the opposite end, however we did have stairs on our side, so only needed to go around to use elevator when we were bringing our stuff up & when we were checking out, so not a huge deal.
The room was spacious, queen beds were very comfortable & bedding and pillows were fluffy & perfect. Everything worked great, hot breakfast was a plus & was good, the pool was open until midnight, rooms were very quiet, never heard any other guest unless passing them in the hallway. Famous Dave's is connected in the front and off to the side is a Caribou Coffee which was a bonus. Staff was all very friendly & there were always extra clean towels in the pool area if needed. Also vending & ice machine on each floor which was nice since we were on the 3rd floor.

Didn't get to swim cause it was closed when we arrived and price was not what I was told not friendly staff
It's location was about it and the pool but we wasn't able to swim on this visit
