Keep in mind this was 8th floor facing inward to courtyard which eliminated a large amount of high impact noise pollution detailed in previous post. 8th floor and higher facing inward or 12th and higher facing street side appears to be best options to reduce noise pollution. Large kitchen table well suited for working on laptop.

Fairly pricy - though downtown LA is just that. quite an eclectic vibe with much diversity in the area, though the number of homeless/street people is significant.

Good central location, if that’s what you’re looking for; right around the corner from Clifton’s, one of thee coolest places I’ve visited. Reasonably close to the metro to get to other areas of LA.

The noise from our room was terrible, we could hear everything , the sirens that went off all night, yelling, cars, trucks and people. We did not get much sleep. We also did not enjoy the location of the hotel, after reading past comments about being a great location, I do not feel that it was. I would recommend looking at the location of the hotel before booking. The photos of the rooms also need updating.

The service team were great and were very helpful when we were not happy with the room we were given. They moved us to a upgraded room. The bathroom was good, it had great pressure in the shower.

The only thing that was weird was the bathroom setup with the shower and toilet, but this was minor. The front door was a bit annoying because it was locked 90% of the time - you had to buzz the front desk to let you in even in the middle of the day. This was minor.

Good location in downtown LA near several restaurants, cafes, and a few public transport options. I enjoyed staying here - there were essentially 2 rooms that were joined, along with a small living area and a kitchen. I loved the open concept loft feel of the "room" which was closer to an apartment layout and very roomy. For the price, a pretty great option! Wifi wasn't the fastest but was decent enough.

Location was perfect and very well kept…pristine even. The staff was beyond helpful throughout my stay. The ‘loft house’ room was exactly what I needed and even with good pics it looks better. All accoutrements were there as needed. Very safe place to be in that area . Literally could really ask for more

There was nowhere to safely park to get checked in. Immediately upon opening the doors to a non-smoking facility, the smell of pot was so strong and unpleasant.

PARKING SUCKS. YOU HAVE TO PAY BETWEEN $15-$25 PER NIGHT. YOU CANT COME AND GO AS YOU PLEASE FROM THE PARKING LOT. QUICK REMINDER YOU ARE STAYING IN DOWNTOWN L.A THERE IS ALOT OF HOMELESS AND THEY WONT LET YOU SLEEP HALF THE NIGHT.

Mattresses were not comfortable, and neither was the couch. The windows were not insulated at all. You could hear every noise going on outside. we were woken up multiple times each night. Drunk people yelling and screaming, music from the bar, homeless yelling nonsense, sirens. It was so loud we thought we left a window open. Blinds were not great either. There were flashing blue lights right outside our window that were attached to the building that was annoying at night. The worst thing about our stay was how hard it was to find the door from the street when we arrived. It was a very small doorway, and no way for you to load and unload luggage from the street.

The amount of space was great. I liked how there were real beds available instead of just a sofa bed couch. I felt safe a secure once we got inside the building.

Location. It's walking distance to Clifton's Republic, which is why we were in town. The hotel was very pretty and clean. Looks newly renovated. The girl at the front desk was nice. The room we got was huge. 2 rooms and a kitchen.
